The only problem this video has is WHO died from the Armenians. Not just fighting men. Innocent women and children, too, whereas the others nations lost mainly men fighting a war. @Arzive If Turkish Government didn't think there's sufficient enough of evidence to prove the mass killings of Turks and Muslims and that there was no intent to exterminate the Armenian population, they would not be demanding to be brought to International court. Sure, but Turks always forget to mention one aspect of their history. Back in 1919, there was a Turkish court-martial (not international, TURKISH) (by Sultan Mehmet VI) that condemned the authorities of the Young Turks for the mass killings of Armenians. They had all fled and were later killed by Armenians who wanted to take revenged. Why would we need an international court if the TURKISH MILITARY court had back when the genocide was nice and fresh sentenced the three to death?

Col. Wooley, British officer, estimated the Armenians had killed 300,000-400,000 Muslims in Van and Bitlis alone. These and other cities are in the east, not the Balkans. Along with the mass killings, Armenians engaged in wholesale rape, often including very young girls, and torture. As for those found guilty in the 1919 mock trials by a puppet gov't: the British themselves rejected these findings.

Your killings in Van are absurd. The majority population of Van (over 50%) was Armenian, and the next was Kurdish. I highly doubt that in 1915, almost half a million muslims even lived in Van, let alone killed. That's how many people live in Bitlis TODAY. That would make Van a more populated city back then than both Van and Bitlis are today. That's extremely unlikely, what I like to call propaganda.

Those behind the scenes lobbying efforts are what you wish was happening. The reality is the opposite. Turkey is paying millions every year to keep mouths shut (I heard this statement numerous times on Turkish TV debates). What you just said is simply because you have nothing left to say. If you don't believe me about the court-martial of 1919, go check your archives. Your government is denying the eligibility of their own court. Would you trust a country that does that?

I don't deny that Ottomans felt backstabbed, I would too, if I were them. I don't deny that Armenians killed some Turks in the process, it's only natural given the circumstances. You can talk all you want. Our ancestors hold the truth. A few people can be affected by propaganda, but not the entire population. Each and every single Armenian who lives today can tell a personal story of how their ancestors survived the genocide and how they saw their entire family die in front of their eyes.

No propaganda can create false memories.

@Arzive You know and I know that the United States government isn't about to give Mexico one inch of land and neither is our government going to give Native Americans one inch of land either. The same logic applies to Turkey and they aren't going to give Armenia one inch of their lands. I suggest you take a look at the Lausanne Peace Treaty that took place in July 24, 1923. It is past time for you Armenians to get a life and love your fellow man as your Bible teaches you to do.

@Arzive During the reign of the Ottoman Empire the turks and armenians lived in peace. After the invasion of the allied forces (Italy, Greece, France, Great Britain, Australia) in Western Turkiye and the Russians in Eastern Turkey the Armenians began to support the Allied Forces especially Russia and Greece. To support the invasion armenians started a civil war by creating "ARMENIAN GANGS" who were aimed to massacre the Turkish citizens.

You're wrong, they didn't live in total peace. Sure, they DID live better than under other muslim empires, but not like you say. Our rights were always suppressed. We had no right to go to court unless we were muslims, meaning we were always judged wrong. Christian girls would be kidnapped and raped by a criminal, and he wouldn't be guilty because he raped an infidel (an example out of many). Your problem is that you want people to believe Ottoman and Turks were angels, which they were not.
