They are taking too many animals out of the water to SUSTAIN (look it up yet?) a healthy population. I don't think the world is short on chickens OR cows. Chicken and cows also do not carry poisonous levels of mercury in its meat either, every heard of Minamata Disease? Maybe you should look that one up as well.

@jukio02 You are severely uneducated aren't you? Mercury in apex predators are HIGHLY poisonous, not like sardines. And there IS something that can be done about it. The sale of dolphin meat has come down 30%, not to mention how many days and weeks they suspended the hunt due to public outcry compared to years past. A lot less dolphins have been killed in the last 3 years, as well as the world becoming educated to the brutality.

Or are you just firing stuff out without knowing what the fuck your talking about. I think the latter is the correct answer. You are also aware that the government sells dolphin meat while claiming that it is a different meat entirely right? Lying to its citizens until one day its Minamata all over again and thousands may die or become mentally retarded. Kinda like you.

@jukio02 You are so ignorant you make me laugh. Eating dolphins gives you mercury poisoning which KILLS you. It mainly affects the very young, especially fetuses so the child is born deformed and mentally disabled. It causes violent muscle spasms (think Parkinson's Disease times a hundred) and deforms and twists your body. I don't think the fight against this shouldn't be just what I (personally) want, its should be what you want too, since you are so worried about saving human life.
