So someone fill me in here cuz im an American Doctor Who fan and Ive only heard of the SJA by reputation only. Is this supposed to be a kids show? I've seen clips and such of it and she's surrounded by children. Plus, the villains have more...fairy tailish (?) names. Someone please fill me in!

@danielchance Yes, it's a kid's spin-off of DW. RTD thought it'd be damaging to the Doctor's mysteriousness if they started a TV show of a teenage Doctor living on Gallifrey and making sonic screwdrivers.

It's not a bad show... you're never too young for kid's stuff!

I agreee its for kids, I just watch it as its a Dr Who spin off and has story tie ins to its parent show and fellow spin off show. Saying that i did enjoy the 3rd series (esp the Doctor's appearance) and want 2 c the show continue

this was the closing theme used in the first christmas special (Invasion of the Bane) so yes it was made by the bbc

arguably it matches the doctor who sting so well , when you hear the "Neeooww" in the sarah jane adventures it has the exact same tense feel as the doctor who version
