A perfect example of the amount of talent wasted in Hindi films. Ragini, the most brilliant dancer ( Shashi Kapoor, who was new then had mentioned how he would reach the sets early , even when he was not needed, to watch her perform), Iqbal Qureshi, N. Dutta, C. Arjun, G.S. Kohli, Mubarak Begum were simply side-lined for the lesser talented lot. What a shame!

Sarv means cypress tree, which is quite tall, so sarv also means height. Khiram means delicate. so sarve khirama means what a delicate body or delicate movements etc. I might be wrong and pl correct me if so.

The song;tune; Mohammad Rafi; Ragini; Shashi Kapoor; music all are excellent. The movements of Ragini are graceful. The use of 'ghungaru' in music is marvellous.

Superb. The finesse with which Ragini has performed the dance has touched the heart deep inside. It is said Laila was not so beautiful but Majnu loved her to the extreme limites, what could be the reason? Was it ' ada"? Iam not aware of any parallel word in English.

Rafi saab is the one and only legend of bollywood, hes the best , no competition but im shocked to hear the female voice is tht of the famous and wonderfully talented usha khanna, not only was she an amazing md but she had an amazing voice , as did suman kalyanpur, but i cant understand why both were pushed out by lata, why cudnt she stand competition, if she thought she was best, why not let others sing too?

tht was the major difference between her and Raf saab, he was humble , she wasnt!

Rafi Sahab was, is and will always be a great singer and one of the many legends Bollywood produced. When it comes to the competition then I think the we the fans are more in competition then those who did their job and gone. We are unnecessorily putting those legends in the competition. Greats like Sehgal Sahab, Rafi Sahab, Kishore da, Mukesh Ji, Talat did their job and we are putting them in competition. It is not fair on our part
