What I'm saying is that they don't find the kids on you tube.

There has been one instance where that happened, and I believe it didn't work out.

Unless you have a connection through a skate shop with the team manager and can discuss sponsorship with them, it really isn't going to happen.

Well sure you could, but then you're hoping that the local team reps will actually be at the contest to see you win, and trust me, as someone who does many large contests, you're not going to see jamie thomas at anything other than the tampa am, and by then, you've already been noticed. The best way to get sponsored is to get hooked up by your local shop, because they'll have a huge list of companies mailing addresses and rep phone numbers
