I myself vote through positive feedback.

  • The best linking ring routine ever. This is one of those linking ring routines that i can actually watch and not get bored and the music was spot on :) Is it your own original routine?

  • I have rings, I nkow how you do it, but dang is it hard to make the presentation this good :P I can do like each individual link and unlink but to put it together so smooth its impossible!

  • @HamzasSisterSC2

practice hard my friend, the results are worth it

  • @SenseiStrange that looks impossible. you should be on world's greatest magic. btw, have you ever seen video game reviews by irategamer or angry video game nerd? i enjoy video game reviews by both, but one irategamer review i like more than AVGN's is when they both reviewed Mario is Missing/Mario's Time Machine. on youtube, irategamer's name is "irategamer" and AVGN's name is "Jamesnintendonerd". check them out when you have the chance and tell me what you think and whose review you like more.

  • when did you start using and performing with chinese linking rings?

  • I think I started 4 years ago...I worked at a magic shop then and performed them everyday.

Sometime soon I will record my new routine...far better than this one!

  • amazing preformance!!!

  • Nice routine!!! I just got these today... Takes practice but it is worth it... And for the nice puzzle magic isnt a trick or a puzzle its an illusion, its what the mind thinks is happening

  • Great puzzles!

  • Magic isn't a trick or puzzle to be figured out

It's an experience to be shared

When we evoke wonderment astonishment and awe

Share laughter, enjoy ourselves and our surroundings

Then we have engaged in the finest of arts...

  • amen. and bravo! :-)

  • wow just thanks for sharing beautifull art*****

  • Great presentation.

  • I really enjoy your level of skill.... it is inspiring!! Also the way you present yourself.. great work.. jz

  • All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fishbowl butterfly movement awesome!

  • thanks, glad you enjoyed it

  • Sensei, that was incredible and very inspiring! I never learned the linking rings because I was never emotionally moved by them. You have changed all that. The rings are very cool to me now. I think I may have to learn this. I loved your presentation! Very awesome!!!

  • Thank you so much for your kind words. Wait a month or 2 till my rings version 2008 hits the web!

  • I agree. Linking rings was a kids trick to me until recently. I cannot believe the artistry here. I originally started watching the first part of this video with my own rings in hand trying to learn your flued moves but then stopped just to watch as you turn this from a simple trick into an amazing masterpiece of skill and beauty!

  • Where did you learn this? I do a version of Dan Harlan's routine, but this one is beautiful. I like how once you start creating shapes and designs, the audience just accepts you're able to link the rings. It turns into what you CAN do, and no longer about HOW you're doing it.

  • Yes a great observation! This is mine routine I developed. I started with McBride's quicksilver rings years ago - then it has continually evolved as I discovered and invented.

  • Hey wsp, Iv seen yours video before. U was looks little bit different yestarday.

  • that was awesome

  • Great Ring routine. Check out my Dove magic.

    Hope you enjoy!!!!

    Best in magic,

    Ray

  • hi, i got a question, your rings what size are they?? 8'? 6'? 5'?

  • I use 12 inch now.

In the video I think it was 8 inch.

  • ok thanks

  • it was the best linking ring routine i've seen so far ! your presentation is great, really cool, and way skillful. thanks for this delectable moment =)

  • You are kind - thank you sir. I watched your thimble work again...stunning.

  • where can I find more govinda's videos?

  • I do not know if Govinda has made any videos. About a third of my videos uses his music. (with his permission) Google him. I suggest the Worlds Within album. Tis my favorite.

  • this just maakes me want to buy and audi

    and go to the olympics

  • this was really good in the most annoying possible way. I'm trying to get a small routine with lining rings and i feel dwarfed after seeing this

  • Just fall in love with your rings and practice practice.

    walk in peace,

    Sensei Strange

  • hippie!

  • very nice, did you learned from Jeff McBride?

  • My routine continues to go to new places, but the foundation is McBride's composition.

  • Awesome.

  • That was simply amazing. I dont think I have ever seen such a linking ring performance.

Thats not just a performance, the enviroment, the song, the costume, the movements.. I just loved it.

I am working on my own and I wish to improve my performance so I could be just like you.

  • thank you very much! I can't wait to see your rings.

  • And isn't it amazing that someone so talented can't make a living at his ART. The world is messed up. I know you love your job but you should be on Letteman, or have your own traveling show or something.

  • Very Cool!

  • Balance.

  • Art.

  • wow now dat was AWESOME!!!

  • I just bought 8 rings, this was inspiring Sensei.

  • this routine makes me want to study the rings.

    thank you. -peter irish

  • THAT WAS AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

  • Quite a compliment from a master magician! I am just a humble student of the art following your talented footsteps!

  • Strong, original, vibrant . . .

  • nice

  • the atmo and presentation of the routine... very nice

  • Hey, "Strange"....

Ummm...I've seen you do this in person, and I really enjoyed it. Now, though, I have seen it with all the music and awesome background environment, etc, so I will need the whole sh-bang next time you do this in person for us.

    OI!

  • Beautiful choreography and nice intro too.

  • I absolutely loved that. Fantastic.

  • Looks good. Nice work, I look forward to seeing more...

    Thanks!

  • nice.. I really liked it, and I see what you mean about using larger rings ;)

  • Sweetly intrigueing, Sensei...

    S~

  • A simply beautiful rendition of the Chinese Linking Rings. Very Nice! The background music selection for this act is awesome. Just an exceptional job Sensei.

  • Nice work! Rings are one of those classic that many try and few do well. You did them well. Keep them coming.

  • I totally agree, when most magicians do this their movements are choppy and robotic. You flow like a river. What's the meaning of that symbol in the beginning.

  • The image came to me last year when I was walking in the desert. I is my mandala for my Aikido/magic. It represents a wave, hurricane, serenity in storm, etc...

  • As cool as that it I was actually talking about the one at 0:28. I love how you seem to have found this peace in the martial arts and magic. And what's a mandala?

  • Sorry the wave was on another video (see my art of peace) The symbols you see there are Yukai - spirit world. Mandala is chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically
