buy me a juicer and I'll do this for life. Right now I jsut make cabbage stew with a lot of sea salt in it. I heard that salt helps cleanse your body and I have to have alot of it anyway jsut to keep my BP up. That looked really good though. Wish I could try it.great vid. But why would a beet make your tongue numb?
Multiple studies on animals have shown that chard has unique benefits for blood sugar regulation. In addition, chard may provide special benefits in the diets of individuals diagnosed with diabetes.
also watercress -----Regular inclusion of cress in the diet is found to prevent osteoporosis, anaemia, vitamin A deficiency and believed to protect from cardiovascular diseases and colon and prostate cancers.
Good informative video....but my ? Is I have a swollen liver I haven't gone yet for the ultrasound the dr requested . Does it matter if I take this or I wait till the diagnoses..thanks
Thanks for the information I am new to Juicing and any help is good. But I bought a Breville Juice fountain and that amount of product in my Juice fountain would have made 2 glasses that size.
Thanks for the video. I am just starting to juice. I jusy bought an omega juicer.I have a question for you though. Why would I not mix fruits and veg. in the same juice?
I believe the point this gentleman is making above, is that we need to cleanse our bodies once in a while. I didn't hear him say anything about meat, negatively or postively. I did not read all the comments here but please tell me someone did not suggest or imply that we have hailed from Apes, don't get me going on that subject matter. Every body is different. Genes play a huge factor and so do lifestyles. Your genetic code may invite carbs all day long, while others protein. Everyone's diff.
Before I started on a raw food lifestyle...I was eating minimal meat, I was fit but I continue to put on weight year after year, and my blood pressure slowly kept rising. As soon as I embraced raw foods I never had to count a calorie or limit what I ate. My body snapped back immediately with minimal effort. I have a six pack and I hardly work out. One way of eating is about restriction calories and the other is about going with the flow of life and being free and your body relaxes and loves it!
I have some random questions. Is that a Jack LaLanne juicer? How much do those run if I want to get my first juicer? Is it easy to clean? Should I start with something cheaper or...?
Second, just for kicks, what is the average calories of a glass of juice that size? Not that I think calories are everything, but if it's only like 100 or 200 calories then I wonder where all that energy comes from when there is so little protein and fat in there. Or do you eat something else with juice? Thanks!
@vigilantezack I would also like to know the calorie content...But I have bought the book and have been juicing some nice greens and it tastes and feels awesome!
@GeorgeEngelbrecht777 Hi....when you eat or juice fruits and vegetables you don't ever need to count calories. You can eat as much as you can handle and you will never gain weight.
@vigilantezack You don't need to worry about calories, you should be drinking as much as you need to feel full, and it won't be as much as you think. Drinking juice gives you so much energy and you never feel hungry. Plants and vegetables have plenty of protein in them. They contain all the aminos that any meat has. You have been well conditioned by the meat and dairy industry to believe you need to get your protein. Look at all the people getting there protein 2/3 are obese. Something's wrong
It is a deep misconception that you need very much protein and really need none from animal sources. Look at the most powerful animas in the wild are all raw plant eaters. The gorilla, elephant, chimpanzee, whales, there are no other animals as powerful. Look at human physiology, we don't have claws, we don't have short intestines like carnivores, we don't have fangs, if we didn't have guns we could run down a wild animal if we wanted to we are to slow.
@rossmorehq I think you've got it backwards. It's a misconception to think the human diet is supposed to resemble birds and rabbits. This has never been our diet since existence.
As for the animals you listed, well if you want to be an overweight fat slob like them, go ahead and eat like them. Humans are in fact protein and fat consumers and always have been. We hunted animals long before guns.
Don't buy in to the bizarre propaganda of the vegan/veg crowd, their nonsense has long been refuted.
@vigilantezack That is funny I don't have to buy into anything. Eating like humans do now? I would look like 2/3 of Americans do with the food by Science system. 200 million overweight to obese. I live what I am talking about. Did I mention birds & rabbits? I think a gorilla is about as ripped as you can get. 400 times strong than any human. Your worried about being a fat slob look around you? Lol! I'm 45 and I am more ripped than you could ever dream of on your protein diet GUARANTEED! All veg
@vigilantezack I bet your overweight? I have never heard of a person going on a all meat diet for any period of time? I have never heard of a person on an all meat diet get cured from cancer and all kinds of disease. I have heard of raw fooders being cured of cancer, diabetes, and all kinds of other diseases. You can't even eat an all meat diet and survive. Wake up. You have been sold down the river by big media propaganda.
@rossmorehq I think you need to do the waking up dude. "Big media" doesn't promote meat/fat (protein) diets. They promote carb, sugar, carb and more sugar and processed, GMO factory foods. Some meats and fats are the most nutrition dense of any food out there and have most certainly "cured" all sorts of ills caused by lack of nutrition from rabbit food diets. You can't even GET all your essential vitamins and minerals on a vegan-type diet. I have nothing against eating some raw food tho.
@vigilantezack I eat a straight carb diet and I feel grea and look great. My friend who is a body builder even says he gets tired and grump when he has to eat so much protein before a show. Okay name what a meat diet has cured? The truth is you can't, by the reverse is true. There have been many cures to stage 4 cancer by eating fruits and Vegetables. I went from doing 10 pull-ups to 35 pull ups eating rabbit food as you call it haha. I bet you couldn't come close? Go luck I wish you well
@rossmorehq It's your life dude, do whatever the crap you want, what's it to me? Have fun fighting your blood sugar swings. I just hope you're aware, NOTHING in our bodies are made of carbs and fruits. A human body is almost entirely proteins and fats. And stores fat for energy. And builds tissues, organs, hormones, and cells out of fat and proteins. I got nothing against F&V, the point is we actually NEED protein and fat to be human. Carb doesn't "build" anything, it's just sugar energy.
@vigilantezack Thanks man..why do you keep writing nosense?....What do you think is in fruits and vegetables? Protein, minerals, nutrients that we are made of. What do you think animals that you like eat? Plants! What does a Gorilla eat? Plants! Is a gorilla worried about fats and proteins? Again a Gorilla is 400 times more powerful than any human ever will be from eating plants. There is a ton of examples like this. Your brainwashed...Im sorry it is hard for you to critically think.
@masterplan8 Seriously? Gorillas? I'm a bit more interested in what HUMANS have eaten all their existence. But sure if you want to look like an elephant or a gorilla, by all means eat like them. Makes no difference to me. And what do you think humans ate when F&V couldn't be grown? They are seasonal foods. Keep studying bro, but I suggest you study humans, not jungle creatures.
@vigilantezack I study myself all the time. I'm in better shape than most 20 yr olds, I have never been overweight, and I'm perfectly healthy. So it works! Humans have had to survive in certain places and meat was the menu along with carbohydrates. But the great part about humans is that they Evolve and F&V's are the now and the future. Massive protein/meat eating is destructive and ages the human body quickly. Just look around you or maybe at you and see the explosion of disease.
@masterplan8 The "explosion of disease" has little to nothing to do with staple foods mankind has eaten forever (high fat/protein animal sources). It's more to due with poor quality factory foods, processing, GMO, chemicals, sugar, grains, extremely high carb, rancid veg fats in cooking, depleted soils, stress, chronic dieting, and the list goes on. Raw, healthy raised animal flesh is about the most complete and nutritious food on the planet calorie for calorie. I'm done with the comment war.
@masterplan8 Are you overweight? I don't care what you eat. Go kill an animal and eat it. I don't think you could even do that. Why do you hang around on this comment section if you don't believe that this is healthy for you? What's the point?
@rossmorehq Last thing haha.....when was the last time you were walking do the street and looked at a dog(or any animal) and said...I would love to sink my teeth into it's neck and kill it? I am willing to bet NEVER NEVER EVER...think about that my friend....
