  • i dont know why this video has such a bad rating, to the obama-haters, at least all the people will have a health care. why are you against that/?

  • I cosign! Saying no to attainable health coverage at this day in age is a pretty reckless decision for anyone to make. I know the current reform does not go far enough, albeit a step in the right direction, but how would you like it if you got struck by a truck on the way to work on Monday morning in your car and was confined to a hospital bed for months with no coverage, or maybe your insurer decided to drop you one day because you are were too expensive for them?

  • You can't expect charity care to save you every time. Every time this happens, society has to pay a price for that financial burden - one more reason for the rise insurance premiums for everyone; everyone shares the cost. If the VA health system works for our fighting men and women, there's no reason why it can't work for everyone else, regardless of your health. If America expects to retain some of it's preeminence in the world, then this is what have to do to in order to stay competitive.

  • I have to say,... that I am against this Bill!

I suggest,... that President Obama sends the Bill to the Vatican, and studies botanics and the Herbalist Pioneers of American History together with his children during the Christmas Holidays, so he may have the chance, to discover the «secret life of power», of «powerful» organic life on Earth really is

Not a single human invention on Earth can trump nature.

I offer further «esoteric» advice against the value of the Bill + additional fee

  • good at least mental health care will be free in the us.

  • Thank you.

  • republican party has fallen to deaf ears. All their fear requires no work and all talk. republicans trip on their own bullshit.

  • "Standing up to special interests"

Good to see the president is bringing the lulz.

  • Epic lulz.

  • The Republican agenda wasn't anything to do with health care or actually, for 9 years now, they have done NOTHING at all.

They are only concerned with RACE as you can see. They are the Racist Party.

Lindsey Graham, yesterday stated his state will now go broke because of Medicaid and because he has a high percentage of African Americans in his state? He stated it twice?

Clearly, they hate that an African American is our president and will block everything or try to, as they are RACIST! WOW!

  • @1911arthur

The Democrat's agenda is the new slavery for minorities and low income families. Dems continue to destroy private business killing jobs so more people have to rely on govt.

Dems HC bill is all about killing private insurance and forcing people to rely on govt.

Look at any major US city. Virtually all have been run by DEMOCRATS for decades and they are only worse.

Thank God more and more African Americans are waking up to these facts and stand up against Democrats!

  • Yea, now we tax-payers can pay to prop up finacial monopolies and pay for a govt. program to "compete" with.

That's right the tax-payer is paying for both "sides" of the "competition"!

  • Lets look at the American people's support:

    Rasmussen

Date Favor Oppose Dec 18-19 41% 55% Dec 12-13 40% 56% Dec 4-5 41% 51% Nov 29 41% 53% Obama never mentions this is what the American people want instead he says its what he/they believe is right.

  • @makeinstall I like your name. I'm assuming it is a nod to linux(or perhaps another unix variant).

I think the problem is that people don't like this bill on both sides of the political divide. The liberals don't think it goes far enough and the conservatives think it goes too far. Earlier polls show that over 60% of americans supported the public option. It is reasonable to infer that some significant proportion of people who don't support this bill don't think it does enough.

  • "Earlier polls show that over 60% of americans supported the public option."

Then 60% of the Americans polled believe in theft. I don't want to pay 1 thin dime to the government for anyone's health care. Just because someone has the letter of law and a monopoly on violence doesn't mean they have justice on their side.

  • Amazing, the public does not want it and yet it's being forced down our throat.

    Rasmussen polls:

Fifty-three percent (53%) of voters believe that passage of the legislation will lead to a lower quality of care, and 58% say it will drive the cost of care up.

Next stop gun control... whether you like it or not...

  • noooooooooooooooooooo

thats a huge loss no one evan wants it

  • "Good morning , well we finally bought the last senate vote we needed"

  • he should've told the damn truth "Good morning well we finally bought the last senate vote we needed"

  • Yes indeed!

  • Awake and Aware ;)

  • This reform was all made in favor of Insurance companies. The public are once again at the mercy of the greedy bastards in Insurance Industry. Unfortunately, Obama's Health Care Reform failed badly.

  • Dunno why it upsets people so much. It does good, necessary, things for our health while allowing folks to continue with their existing insurance and providers. What's so bad about win-win?

I'm still looking for a specific criticism with the reform that justifies opposition to the bill; most all of what I've seen in opposition has been hysteria from the elephant party.

  • Expansion of government, 60 corrupt senators want it, the US citizens don't.

  • What a LIAR. The whole bill was designed by special interests. Who does he think he's fooling?

  • Or Al-Jazeera English!

  • I'm tired of this channel banana ridin' Obama and goddamned democrats. You guys don't do the Bernie Sanders uncut vids do you? Nope, doesn't look like it, consider me unsubscribed. If you want real news, well, check the Real News Network.

  • Obama has moved firmly into Orwellian double-speak. This isn't a victory for the American people its a victory for the insurance industry. The insurance industry is getting just what they paid for out of Obama and the Democratic leadership.

    A big payoff.

  • No, it's not a "big victory" for us as this was nothing more than a power grab. Obama and his central banking buddies can now funnel our money through them and take however much they like and dole out a band-aide here and there and say they're "doing it for the people."

Disgusting. George Washington must be rolling over in his grave.

  • @TheDemonPazuzu Yes and I'm sure George Washington would be proud of the way the GOP lies and obstructs in Congress these days.
