Dude, looks like you built an entire space station just for a boring laser. A simple project can get you an even more powerfull burning laser into a simple mobile flash light.

Watch for the next 2 projects - a red laser with about 2x the power, and a BluRay, which makes a beam the same color as blacklight tubes!

Dude - space station is for other stuff. Diode is 3 wires & a resistor. I just build several projects at once.
