sounds awesome. i'm currently running a 357 in my s10 with 882 heads, which i consider to be the worst head ever produced. i'm doing a vortec swap, stock vortec castings with beehive springs, roller rockers. has a .465 lift cam, which i'm going to stick with for now. i'm thinking around 10.5:1 with flat tops and a thin head gasket. hopefully sounds like yours except not as lumpy. whats the specs on your cam? what compression ratio ? do you have tailpipes on that exhaust

@bads10357 Comp cams 305 .525 lift 253 duration@ 50 10.5:1 compression and i have 3 inch exhaust that dumps at the rear axle no tail pipes

the vortec heads to better with 2.02" intake and 1.60" exhaust valves than porting and polishing... put some valves in it man and tell me if u like it lol

Awesome truck man, I have the same cam for the 400 SBC I'm building for my s10.

This is one of the best v8 s10 videos on you tube it gave me a great idea for what the cam will sound like and nice peel out at the end. I give it 2 thumbs up and once again awesome truck!

Thanks for the comment , the carb was dumping fuel out of the boosters and i didnt know it so it could sound way better, also the truck is flat black now and will be getting the trans rebuilt this summer and I was gonna put a victor jr intake but I think I'm gonna go with a air gap instead. So hopefully some time this summer a new video.

@the63man just got a new s10 this ones got a tuned port injection iroc v8, shift kit, 2800 rpm stall converter, posi rear, and some huge exhaust the guy told us the motor was stock but after some burnouts and puting it on a dyno im 100 percent this thing was tweaked with somehow, the car topped out at 198mph this things got some kick

No they bolt on, only thing that needs chaning is the intake its a different bolt pattern on the intake side.

2.5 I'm gonna switch it around this summer maybe to 3" and 4'' turn downs. But other cars and trucks I've had I ran 2.5 with regular 40 series flowmaster and it gets a real tinny sounding idle which I like but it depends what sound your looking for
