my grandpa was an alcoholic too but he cheated instead of beat and my uncle is dead from booze as well.i knew both sets of grandparents well,tho dads side was taken early.
Thanks for sharing. I hope Mom was able to settle unquiet spirits you might have had through her testimony. I was shocked to discover this, but then, if I had kids and my father had been abusive, I'd probably not have said much at all, either.
