Biggest flaw though, is that theres no DVD Drive, thats a big problem. I woulda bought this but no dvd drivee!. Making it thin and light is all fine and dandy, but dont compromise on important things like that. Cuz they forget that then u have to carry around a bloody dvd drive, it takes away the portability. Just like the stupid Mac Book Air, samething, Sony just followed.
this TYPE of notebook isnt designed for ppl like you who require a DVD drive or constantly in need of watching movies. if u want that, get a TT or Z. this is ultra portable notebook, a DVD or BluRay drive is not considered "important"
SONY never "follow", in fact when SONY was making ultra portable (505), super sexy laptops note books, Apple was making ultra ugly, heavy big trash (which they still do), and X505 was released 5 yrs ago WITH floating keyboard, guess who followed? haha, APPLE.
Yea I have the Z series, but they should have just stuck with TZ honestly. That design and everrything about it was Amazing. Infact I still want a TZ. They failed on TT, and now this we'll see. But DVD drive is very important to me for my business u see, as with a lot of others I know. They should have instead just Improved the TZ, but kept the same design. Was the best laptop ive ever seen and made if you ask me.. Now their evidentally copying MacBook Air. Too bad!
u know the reason why a company makes so many different products is becuz everyone has different needs, clearly, this is not for you, so this shouldnt be considered a Flaw by you! while u can have your personal opinion how you like TZ over TZ, however, u cant ulter the fact that TT is a great improvement over TZ. exactly like i said, if a DVD dr is important for "YOU", then the X is not for you.
i cant talk about TZ's design as it's a matter of personal preference, tho i can asure you it's far from the best made. the best laptop for business right now would have 2 b the Z, well the US version is pretty bad, but i never talk about SONY that are sold outside Japan anyway.

Well when I said best made, I mean best made in its class as far as portability is concerend. Sony is not copying Apple in general, but on the X series, its very evident unfortuntley. People did not like the Apple Air due to its major lack of ports, dvd drives etc.. Sony just dived in! I like Sony, but they can be very stuburn. They refuse to accept that they have major Touchpad issues with Alps Pointing device. I mean get rid of those fools if they cant produce functioning trackpads.

I dont have to go way back, just use X505 as an exmaple, so tell me how is it X copying Air, not the Air copied X505? I have EVERY top of line Vaio, NEVER had problems with TrackPad, on the lower end like C, N etc... maybe.
SONY is not stuburn, as that's the very reason made what SONY is it today, SONY only lead and innovate, while others borrow and copy. always been like that.
I get my AR-21S @ 17500 CYP apr 2950 Euro and now is worth nothing. Lots if BSOD's Power States Faluires and so on. No supprod for Win7 at all. And bad upgrades from Sony, Sony doesn't post any No S/W updates yet !!
