Kevin, do you think Piano is the best instrument that composer to use in composing song? ( I observed that many great composer can play piano themselves)

@wisedennis For me, it is the only instrument I use to compose. I do, however, use my keyboards and "virtual instruments" so that I can imagine playing other instruments in the orchestra when I want to compose for other parts. It depends on the individual, I guess.

this guy is by far one of the best composers of the 21st century. i couldn't find the achual notes for this song anywhere which drove me insane. so i did the next best thing and spent a whole 2 months listening to the song and trying to learn it how it was written (he is completely blind aswel) so anyone wanting to learn this amazing piece would from my experience try and play it from hearing it. that way you will treasure it even more.

Excellent performanace by Kevin Kern. Had been to his concert few back back at Singapore's Esplanade Concert Hall twice. Loved his recomposed of SIngapore Malay folk song "Rasa Saya", very humourous way. Everyone was enchanted by his music and couldn't bear to dismiss after his encore session.
