  • Shut up! Amazing. Did you toy with the timing at all - or is that 100% unmanipulated by you? Thanks for posting.

  • @jeffconsoletti I made it a long time ago, but I'm quite sure I haven't change the scene. Just cut at the good moment at the begining or end of each seach to make them really parallel.

Since then, I have seen the film lots of time, and I hope I could make a new video since, with much more mirror effects.

  • The film had to be constructed this way on purpose. A testament to Hitchcock's genius. These scenes show how the character is caught in a pattern and destined to repeat himself.

  • great video! well does anyone has a clue where hitchcock appeared in this film?

  • Thank you!

  • Remarkable!!!!

  • Well done! I appreciate how you show Hitchcock's techniques almost effortlessly. As a film lover and San Franciscan, I thank you for this wonderful montage.

  • very clever and very good and I do like split screens after the fact

  • Really interesting visual relation of the parallelisms present in Vertigo. I read an analysis on this theme, but it is appreciated on a much more visceral level compared side by side...all I can say is thank you very, very much!

  • @saufunnom Merci beaucoup !
