I have a 370z with the sportpack...my best lunch is 0-60 4.75sec thats obviously on dry not caring if something breakes...with love it does 5.0 everytime....but what I find awesome on the Z is the highway cruising...this car has amazing top end speeds 60mph to whatever real real quick! and handling is the best!..I drove the new mustang 5.0 on an un-even road and is not easy to drive! very jumpy...i got the Z because on the same road it was a lot more stable and is cheaper lol

The early years on any new platform are going to be pricey. That being said, it's obviously going to be easy to dial up an evo to the edge of its safe stock block limit... Push that number up a little, and the price tag dramatically rises for the Evo.

Wtf is wrong with yall??? If you know either cars or physics well enough a rwd car has a marginally big advantage over a fwd or awd car. In acceleration the weight of the vehicle is is being pushed back, onto the back wheels, thus more traction in the back, less in front. Awd vehicles usually have a torque bias of 40/60 in general so that's 40% of your power in the front with less force holding the wheels down. The Evo won because it had more power, that's it.

@DKMuerte IF you know physics, you would realize that pushing the car with 4 wheels gets the car moving from a standing start much faster than pushing 2 wheels. RWD has the advantage in the later half of the track. Theres plenty of other factors and suggest you look into racing more before you make rediculous claims. You do realize when you drive FR you are actually losing power from the engine as well through the drivetrain? Also, the components for AWD drive train makes it much heavier.

but if you pay someone to do the work for you then it will double in price.

Or you can just get a bigger turbo and stop at 500 whp for under 3,000 total.
