Its good to see a nice woman shooting so good !! These henry rifles look very good. Pitty that we in the Netherlands are not allowed to have them free. Last year in september i had the chance to shoot a winchester 73 replica in 44- 40, it was great since i was a child i love lever actions!! Someday i gonna own one!!
@steinderbush I want to own one too. I live in Ireland. Damn European laws make it illegal to own one. How are you gonna go about getting one of these beautiful guns?
there is no such thing as recoil. u people just don't know how to use a firearm. i can fire 3 rounds from my semi 12 gauge, and it doesn't rock me at all. u have to absorb is by shifting weight from the front leg to the back.
if u didn't, u would have a black shoulder from duck hunting. ha
Always wear hearing protection. The gun weighs 6.25lbs, not 15, and appears to be a Henry H001T. It is a frontier model with 20" octagon barrel and retails for about $350- $400US. The reciever is not aluminum, it is an alloy of magnesium, zinc, and aluminum, and is heat treated to give it incredible strength
similar to that of steel, but more cost effective so people can afford to buy it. Very nice guns. Reliable, accurate, and every piece is made 100% in the USA!
THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL LOOKING GUN. I AM GOING TO BUY MY FIRST .22 RIFLE. I AM TRYING TO DECIDE BETWEEN ONE LIKE THAT ONE, OR IF I SHOULD JUST GO WITH A SIMPLE MARLIN MODEL 60 OR BOLT ACTION. HAVE YOU HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH EITHER OF THOSE TWO? BESIDES THE AESTHETIC APPEAL OF YOUR 39A, DOES IT SHOOT ANY BETTER THAN THE OTHER MARLIN .22'S? I WANT ONE TO USE ON OCCASION FOR TARGET PRACTICE OR SHOOTING STUFF AROUND MY FARM.
I didn't wear ear protection while shooting .22s before, but my doctor, who happens to be a hunter, told me that even a .22 is enough to damage your hearing. He lost a frequency to it. Sucks to not hear the definition in "p" and "t".
because it has the pitch to break the hair on the ear drum to break and my friend shot 22 for 5 years with no hearing protection and he has lost 70%of hearing in one ear on 50% in the other
Cows are amazing! You'll never know what spooks them. I remember a long time ago in a farm, after shooting in a barn, we went outside. My friend repeatedly pulled the trigger of his EMPTY revolver and the cows were like 100 ft from us and they started getting roudy.
You need hearing protection for any rifle because let me tell you. I'm a rimfire fanatic even though I do reload and bullet cast for many obsolete calibers anyways...22lr can really get your ears uh ringing after so many shots. Keep the protection on, even if its just toilet paper in your ears. ;) Happy shooting!
@willgameforgirls .22 might do very little damage but it is still permanent damage and accumulates over time, and effects you more in your old age. If you shoot it often I'd think ear protection would be good idea! Maybe I've been brainwashed, but every older person I know who was into guns begs me to wear ear protection regardless of caliber, in a "look what happened to me" sort of way (like the people with no teeth who beg me to floss, lol)
lever action guns are just so dope

The whole bullet itself is no longer than a inch, the actual bullet itself is less than a quarter of an inch, therefore has no recoil.
Stop thinking like you know everything just because you play Call of duty
