F1's the bestyou can get? How the fuck is driving in a line and basically finishing in the same order you started racing? Racing involves passing dimwit. You can keep your multi million dollar go-karts thanks. Big deal they turn right as well as left, if I want to see that I'll watch V8 Supercar or ALS at least they are real cars.
Racing shouldn't be about handicapping the best teams and cars like it is in nascar when the race is bunched up and restarted multiple times throughout the course of the event.
F1 SUCKS! It's the most boring racing on earth! Team orders aren't racing. Telling your teammate to move over to let you win isn't racing. Why don't you watch the UAW-Ford 500 tomorrow at Talladega Superspeedway on ABC at 1 PM (ET), to see what REAL racing is. There's hardly EVER any side-by-side racing in F1. You Europeans are outta your minds!
Yeah, I didn't see Juan Montoya wreck at all last year! (rolls eyes at me35656's stupidity). I think Villeneuve and Franchetti are gonna be tearing up some cars, so STFU you piece of shit!
team orders? thats not even legal in f1 anymore, have you ever seen f1? since shumi left everything is so much tighter on the grid to the point that smaller teams are starting to win races because its become so much more competitive and how can you call oval racing real racing? im not gonna say its crap because i accept whatever floats your boat but i dont understand why people find watching cars go in circls for 500 laps fun, maybe its cos everyone watches it only for the crashes nothing else
If you look, I typed that a year ago. The definition of a race is to get to the finish line first. That's pretty hard to do when you race single file all day, like they do in F1.
exactly, your describing f1 as it used to be, formula one these days is so much closer, seriously watch the climax at interlagos this sunday, it has got to be one of the closest final races of all time, i know you probably wont watch it but im well excited lol
england, i think its free to watch it cos f1 is the number 1 motorsport here, we also get moto gp free cos thats really popular too and so is wrc, there the main motorsports here and not many people watch nascar so thats probably why its part of the sattelite channels
yes it does but these days teams that do it face huge fines or race bans so its a rareity. basically you want f1 to be a "bump and grind" motor sport too? the cost of f1 cars run into the tens of millions. watching a grand prix with collisions all over the place would be heartbreaking seeing these works of art being damaged each lap. f1 is a tactical sport, nothing like nascar so dont be silly :P
@Nascarfever The only reason nascar is a 'bump and grind' sport is for the same reason they only race on ovals they don't even have a quarter of the talent of people in F1, I road race and I can tell you, the reaction times needed are far greater and don't even compare to the reaction times needed in oval, I have raced oval as well so I can say that.
@TheBbergner86 Technology isn't the point in NASCAR... It's about who can build the best car within a tightly controlled list of regulations... Ironically enough that's what F1 has been going towards for the past few years.
Now the real technology wars are being waged in the various Le Mans series all over the world, hybrids, diesels, KERS... All the cool stuff happens there now.
Is this nascar?

@Nascarfever You are correct, F1 does not compare to NASCAR
F1 > NASCAR, NASCAR is like a demolision derby more then a technology battle

@TheBbergner86
does that make any sense at all?
I am guessing you are not a true F1 fan for saying that.
F1 and Nascar are completley diffrent sports. They are both great, but both of them have their downsides. I am a fan of both..
