  • played this and did a pretty good job. However i was in violin and it was Awesome.

  • zu schnell, die ostinatofiguren im bass gehen total verloren

  • Very fast for the orchestra. When I performed this, we took the tempo down by a lot. You have no idea how emotional it is when the line "crucifixus" comes around and after for the resolution. One of the most remarkable pieces I remember playing though.

  • Way too fast, but still awesome.

  • We sing this in our chor and we love it to sing....but we have no orchester just the piano...:)

    :D

  • GREAT!! :)

Wir haben es heute im Chor auch etwas in diesem Tempo probiert! super! :))

  • That's just the correct tempo. In the score it's marked "allegro moderato".

  • @Sperontes then agan it IS subjective.

  • maravilhoso!!!!.Alguso

  • Much too fast.

  • Lovely singing, but given how completely the 18-year-old Schubert lifted this piece from the Prisoners' Chorus of Fidelio, I prefer a more andante tempo, like the source material.

  • One of the best credo I have ever known. The original score runs around 6 minutes. This one lasts only 3:47, so somewhere gets cut short. However, I like the video, well done.

  • its short because they are singing it SO fast. I sang this last summer on a 7 concert tour with 7 different drectors each time and our performances of the credo ranged from about 2:45 to 7 min

  • I think you are right. No omission, just sing it faster here. However, I like the Credo a little bit serious & solemn.

  • Wow very nice choir!

They did very good job with the fortissimos and pianissimos throughout the whole song!

  • awesome choir :>

    5/5*

  • just great!!

  • Hm, trees are very, very religious...

  • Trees?????
