  • This is a Mavlavy Rite from Turkiye, the commemoration for the knight at which the great Turkish Sufi Mavlana had met his god (he died). This knight is called "şeb-i Arus"(shabby aroos) meaning "wedding knight".The instrument is "nay".In this ceremony Mavlavy derwishes called "Semâzen"(Samaazan) perform "Semâ"(Samaa) by turning around themselves while their right palms are turned to the sky and their left palms are turned to the ground meaning "we take from the god and give it to the people"

  • "wedding knight" should have been "wedding night". i am sorry for the mistake. "wedding night" is the meeting night of Hz. Mavlana with his lover, and hence it is the night at which he died.

  • daha fazla ney videosu icin calısalım... ben de atıyorum ki daha fazla kisi ulasabilsin... saygılar..

  • Where was this - Turkey? What was the event - private religious or a show?

  • şeb-i arus is NOT "wedding knight", it means "wedding NIGHT". Hz Mevlana names his night of death as "wedding night" as he meets his "love". be with and upon love, my friends.

  • haklısın kardeşim. hatâ olmuş, özür dilerim.

  • endererikli is certainly right. "shabby aroos" has nothing to do with "knights", "dungeons" "dragons" etc. :)

i apologize for my big mistake.

  • Neyi Ve Neyzeni Seviyorum Dostlar Ve Huzur Buluyorum
