you can only do it from certain games (for example Noby Noby and Eden both allow it) and the functionality is accessible from the menus in those games. you'll have to check the in-game manual for Noby Noby Boy because i really don't remember how i did it offhand

i think you just get in your house and press up or down on the right stick? man i don't even remember now. it's not tough though
