It's hard for me to be me when I'm trying to be a positive role model for my 14yr old daughter, and a playmate and disciplinarian to my 9yr old son. I get monthly full body massages, go to the movies ( solo and with friends), take up special interest classes, keep my studies up to keep my license active. I didn't get a masters degree to just let it and my skills lag. Ladies/men embrace your lives, live them to the fullest. Live a life of no regrets.

@Exist2Excel this is my issue. I got out years ago, went to school a couple of times, worked a little and have raised my kids. We've pcs'd from here to there. He's deployed now until next year. Our son has autism and is about to start high school, all while hubby is away.

This is a wonderful message. I, too, had to learn that lesson. I have been married almost 12 years, and I have one son. Initially, it was all about my husband and son, then I started feeling like I was losing myself. I started meeting new friends, and I started a new hobby creating music. My life feels more fulfilling.

Your videos are always right on time. Silvia Brown ain't got nothing on you girl. This is a realization that I've come to over the past couple weeks and have been moving forward in pursuing my passions. Sounds easy but its a slight struggle shifting to being self centered which isn't a bad thing because it's all about centering yourself in life. Wonderfully, true video. I am pleased to be a wife, full time mom, home educator, plus. I love, adore and care for my husband and ons with passion. Yet I care for me without guilt. I get monthly full body massages, go to the movies ( solo and with friends), take up special interest classes, keep my studies up to keep my license active. I didn't get a masters degree to just let it and my skills lag. Ladies/men embrace your lives, live them to the fullest. Live a life of no regrets.

Okay BG!!! I am gonna need you to call me or email me so we can chat one on one. I have been married for 14 yrs and we both were in the military. I got out in 99 and have only worked for 2 yrs since because I have been raising my kids and constantly moving (he's still in -25+ yrs). I have been telling myself "get a life, I am more than just a spouse, mother, I can do so much more!!!!" I just need to take that 1st step. I could talk 4ever but Thank you, Thank you ,Thank you :-)

@Exist2Excel this is my issue. I got out years ago, went to school a couple of times, worked a little and have raised my kids. We've pcs'd from here to there. He's deployed now until next year. Our son has autism and is about to start high school, all while hubby is away.

You are so right Goddess, What turns a man on about an independent woman is that she is independent of him. When a man is with an indenpendent woman, he feels as thought he has an equal partner. This is a wonderful message. I, too, had to learn that lesson. I have been married almost 12 years, and I have one son. Initially, it was all about my husband and son, then I started feeling like I was losing myself. I started meeting new friends, and I started a new hobby creating music. My life feels more fulfilling.
