I only briefly drive through Cullman on the way from Atlanta to Smith Lake at my lakehouse and I was curious enough to type in "Cullman, Alabama" on here and I'm surprised because I've never seen any of this. I just assumed the town was a tiny one. All I drive past is a Chik-Fil-A, Arby's, Lowe's, and a Wal-Mart!
visited this spot on Memorial Day today and its an amazing waterfall totally hidden away in residential area. worth the trouble to drive by and see; no parking space and entrance is locked by a gate. would like to plug for Denny's in Cullman--some amazing pancakes are there!
@MAC02134 My wife and I used to take picnics on that fall before they locked it up. It used to be quite a bit more consistent, and we'd climb to the top and hang out. That was a high school senior ago.
I have never seen this waterfall that high before! To respond to some of you guys...Yes it is in Larkwood...This is our water source her in cullman(Lake Catoma)..I was driving in drivers ed down through there just yesterday and the waterfall is running pretty good as we speak....I have always loved to go down there and see it! Its beautiful!
that was quite a rain shower, my yard was coverd in rain i could barely get out of my drive way i remember that i left a video comment of what it usually looks like after a normal rain shower
Yeah, but believe it or not folks told me they've /NEVER/ seen this particular one actually look like a waterfall - it's a trickle over a dam, usually.
where in cullman is that. i live in west point. i know i was in good hope and some of the roads flooded and part of the road was washing off out past smith lake park
It's right to the left (if you were driving down Convent Road) of the bridge at the end of Convent Road. I think it's Larkwood, but it's definitely in the Larkwood neighborhood.
Haha me and my fruend climb that wen it was dry then swam across catoma
