AMAZING! This guy who did the 3D work on this is absolutely amazing! The best part is that they tested their finished face with the shroud. Well...there are middle eastern people who are a bit lighter but thats not the point. Does anyone find it laughable that we are still obsessed with the myths and superstitions of people who lived in the iron-age?
No person you have ever met was as ignorant as someone living 2000 years ago. They feared everything from storms to plagues. The gods they created were as pathetic as the stories they conjured up (Jonah and the Whale, The Tower of Babel, parting the red sea, dead people walking around, etc).

Many of the values of western civilization were passed down through those stories, just as they were through many classic Greek myths. You hae a very simplistic, black and white understanding. There may be much superstition and myth in the Bible, but there is also much philosophical wisdom.

Just as the Vedas did in India, or the Avesta in Persia, etc, etc. Many cultures had similarly irrational beliefs. But people embraced them for a reason, as they were the basis of civilization. Many cultures were far more superstitious and brutal in their beliefs.

Its one the mysteries of this world, no matter what religion is involved, but no one couldn't explained how the images of a man get copied in this particular shroud, after many sciences were studying and analyzing. @SteelAVic18 my husband and i are white and we even had the common sense as kids to realize Jesus IS NOT this light colored, long haired, blue eyes, Caucasian skinned man

@thecolaratlady Popular Science did an article yrs ago about the face of Jesus and it was quite interesting, a much darker skinned man with woolly hair, brown eyes

@SteelAVic18 I don't think we should compete with anyone trying to mask the Lord, I say it is devilish work. Remember Satan used to be angel of the Lord. When I say images like this or picture on churches depicting Jesus Christ, my first thought is people without faith and people without faith will grab on to the first thing they see. I don't believe Jesus is white, I cannot describe his color but I know he lives.

@thecolaratlady that wasn't his real self. he's not human, he's the son of god. im sorry i meant to say God with a capital G :) ! its like if you make a science project you dont become the science project! ( except that we're alot more important then a science project and GOD is 900,0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 x more important than somebody who made a science project)
