    Yes, you can.

  • coollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

  • Im sorry guys but $1,700 is not a cool price for this camera.....there are so many cheaper options the Panasonics are only 500 bucks for full 3d so I think I will pass...Consumer cameras shouldn't be priced so high.

  • I went to the JVC UK Headquarters recently to check out this 3D camcorder and I was more impressed than I thought I would be, especially for the price. I interviewed a product specialist while I was there so check out my channel to watch.

It felt quite heavy and the optical zoom is not as good as some of the other models but the quality of 3D nearly matched the very expensive Panasonic prosumer model. Going to be interesting to find out how it compares to the upcoming Sony 3D camcorder.

  • exactly the devive i was waiting!!!!

Surely better than the awfull panasonic!

And what about filming with poor light?

    very important to me

visit my channel and you'll understand why ;)

  • I hear it has biphonic audio... Funny that my 1978 JVC RC-838 (boombox) has that technology.

  • OK, thanks.

  • Hello !

Can anybody tell me the distance of the two lenses ?

    Stereobasis ?

  • okay i'm allso going to by a 3D grafik card and a 3D television. If I should be able to use the camera:-(

  • What kind of 3D glasses do you need for this? Active Shutter, Real 3D, other?

  • @Bosingr It uses passive glasses, not active shutter. No glasses are needed to view 3D on the camcorders LCD panel.

  • @JVCAmerica By Passive glasses do you mean those Real3D glasses we use to watch movies like Avatar and others @ the movie theater? Or the old school Red & Cyan glasses?

  • @Bosingr First, and most importantly -- we misinformed you with our initial response. The type of glasses needed depends upon the TV that's used to play back the 3D recording. Sorry for the mistake. FYI, when we say "passive" glasses, yes, we mean the type you mention, not the "old school" type.

  • @JVCAmerica So...it doesn't use the Active shutter glasses, but Passive, like the Real 3D glasses used in movie theaters for most 3D movies these days. Right?

But then you said it depends on what TV we have to play back the recording. And most all of the 3D HDTVs now use the Active shutter glasses, which you said it didn't use. Very confusing. Scratching my head over this one. You'll understand then if we don't choose this camcorder because of the ambiguous info you're giving here.

  • @Bosingr Again, sorry for the confusion. It's really quite simple -- the camcorder has nothing to do with which type of glasses you use. When it comes to glasses, all that matters is what type of glasses your 3D TV requires. So, you can play footage shot on the JVC 3D camorder on any 3D TV.

  • No MPEG-4 MVC Authoring for Blu-ray Disc available?

Kein (bezahlbares) MPEG-4-MVC-Authoring für Blu-ray verfügbar? Was soll ich dann mit einer 3D-Kamera? Hallo Adobe, Apple, Sony, ...! Munter werden!
