I learned to play this on the hulusi while visiting Yunnan, and I like to play it for friends. I heard it everywhere there, both live and recordings, and found several recordings. YouTube has many videos with this song. Does anyone know anything about the history--is it a traditional Dai folk song? Does anyone have an English translation of the lyrics?
