  • this video helped alot, thanks!

  • dude ur realli good at it but like i need help on the bass notes

  • lol when i was listening to this i was eating baglebites then my heart started hurting then when it was done my heart feelt normal. lol

  • @christian8468 thats messed up you should get that checked probably

  • @moemes lol i get it alot.

  • yay ive been looking for easier versions of some good songs for ages this is really good hope u make more thanks.

  • Try the bassline on the lower strings.

    That good.

  • Thats good but try it with the bassline on the lower strings. It adds a lot to the song.

  • nice man made it a whole lot easier!!

  • You're really good at the guitar.

    Just though you should now!

    Aha.

  • Thank you!

  • @BlindLoveStories well no duh hes dang dog good

  • your voice makes me happy

  • @grudainc Haha, why thank you!

  • i just play the chords=þ it sounds alot better... just d, a, bm and g, then d, a, f#m, and g

  • what tuning is this in?

  • It's in standard tuning.

  • good lesson is that a strat?

  • Thank you. It's a Squier Strat.

  • I've found that no matter what effects i use i still cant get it to have that ringing that it gets with the piano. I have to perform this in april and there wont be a piano there. Any suggestions?

  • Yea, I know what you mean. I've found the same thing. I don't really know what you could do. Sorry. Have fun perfoming though!

  • try adding a solo guitar baseline. It really emphasizes the song

  • i that a starsound electric giutar

  • @conachlmrs09

    No, it's a Squire.

  • why didnt u add the base?

it's possible in guitar but u need to have excellent hand coordination though

  • i second that notion on the need for hand coordination

  • Its not the same without the bass...

  • great job!

  • it's not that easy

  • you must suck then

  • it is easy, he just doesnt explain it well at all.

  • now you need to put in the bass, its super hard doing both at the same time theres another video that shows u

  • thx :)

  • its a song by them its good on guitare.

  • yo make a video of how to play separate ways theres like no vidoes of it

  • What do you mean by separate ways?

  • thank you

  • its another song by journey

  • Comment removed

  • Oh, I thought you meant play Don't Stop Believin' in a different way or something like that. But I'll make a video of Separate Ways if I find time.

  • Thanks for posting. I am just learing guitar but Journey is my favorite band! Your tabs are helpful! Cheers.

  • super easy once u understand it

  • i dont get it wen u put the fingers on the r2d and 2nd string do su strum both of them cuz it doesnt sound like it.

  • Well, I'm alternate picking them. Check out the tabs in the video info.

  • Thanks listentothewall I got it down, quite simple indeed. Thanks again man!!!

  • saw journey a few weeks back and thought they were awesome, one of the best songs ever. nice work dude made easy

  • this is great :) thanks

  • that was awesome! all the other videos are all complicated. this makes life way easier. thanks a bunch

  • how does the picking go??

  • If you look at the video info, there is a tab. That is how the picking is. It is always alternating with two strings. If that's what you mean.

  • its better if you play the bass line wiht it :)

  • that would involve some finger-picking which is pretty challenging(well, for me at least)

  • okay my guitar never sounds right, is urs in an amp with hte sound changed or something

  • yea, it is. i either had the bass up or the treble down. i cant remember which. it might have actually been a combination of both. but just play around with the bass and treble on your amp and you'll find it. good luck!

  • make sure distortion is off, and if u have a fancy pancy amp use a light reverb

  • sorry but i font have the whole thing. try ultimate-guitar. com i think they have it.

  • im quite religous so i cant call you a god but you are amazing i learnt it in 30 seconds

  • good job but is it standard tuning
