  • I AM.... THE LAW!!!!!!

  • The Dredd costume is awesome, but that voice is just awful! Dredd is not Clint Eastwood!

  • Acclaim's Judge Dredd arcade game ran on the PS1-based Sony ZN-1 system... The same arcade hardware that powered Capcom's 3D fighters Star Gladiator and Street Fighter EX, and Tamsoft's Battle Arena Toshinden 2 (published by Capcom).

  • dredd's voice is just '_'

  • Nice! Live action cutscenes!

  • They should have went with the midway prototype version it looked more enjoyable although nothing special either* thanks for the upload!

  • the movie was a load of putrid ass.....but if you notice this is about the comic books not that shit stain

  • I rember playing this game at the arcade. I thought is was Robocop. :P

  • so cheesey but so much better then the movie

  • Do you absolutely, positively, NEED to have a lightgun for this game? Or can you use a 8 direction joystick and buttons?

  • There is a prototype by Midway that uses joysticks with the same name. This game only uses a gun.

  • Then it will be a pain to convert the neo geo

  • Damn, I didn't know they had a shooting game. I only saw the beat'em up type in the arcades.

  • That actor seems to think he's Dirty Harry for some reason, I always thought Dredd's voice be a lot more gravelly and aggressive.

  • sweeeeeeeeeeeet how much did this run you?

the video output is composite or VGA?

  • I've been looking for this game working for some time. I've now picked up the gun harness so I looking forward to play the game and see the other screens. The game is a Jamma game and it runs on a standard CGA coin operated video game monitor.

  • These actors act like crap! What a pityful vision of Dredd... The movie may be not great Stallone is far more better than this man with a bad cough. Besides there are Mean Machine AND Hammerstein the ABC robot in the same movie!!! Let's watch it one more time, and let's play Dredd VS Death :)

  • I bet Acclaim didn't want to pay Stallone or any other movie actor the fee for using there name and image on this coin operated arcade game.

  • ArcadeHistory says "The game was NOT based on the film at all - in fact it was begun long before programmers/designers knew about the film. During it's lifetime it went through three name changes (two being completely non-dredd related) before finally changing back into a Dredd based game!"

  • Midway had the arcade rights to the movie version of Dredd. So it couldn't possibly have been released at the time.

Plus the movie came out in the 16 bit generation, it couldn't really handle a game like that until the PS1.

  • This is how a Judge Dredd film should look like. With a Sin City type of vibe.
