When I was little I had this on a video tape and I was completely obsessed with this concert. I would watch it over and over.

i never heard of her till here on You tube, in my other genre, techno,and I saw Vivaldi, in techno, a remix. I clicked it out of curiosity,and have been hooked ever since! The devil's trill is my fave,and will forever be. Man!!!! She is talented!!!!! Blows me away,and I am not easily impressed. She is truly gifted.

THe first time I heard of Vanessa Mae was a few years ago while walking through a Sears store and on one of the televisions in the electronics department was playing the video for "The Devil's Trill". Being a Musician myself; I was amazed by the talent of this beautiful young woman and purchased the Cd shortly after.

I think that VM is the greatest violinist of all time, because she is the ONLY one to have ever stretched the violin beyond the boundaries of traditional, classical music. She has moved it into another realm which I didn't think was possible, but it sounds very good! It gets very monotonous and boring to hear the same violin concertos being played over and over again, so her wonderful improvisations are like a breath of fresh air!!
