  • What does the oil lamp symbolize, if it burns on for a week, does it mean the troubles will be over?

  • dude most of it is fiction. battle of chi bi was not won because kongming summoned a wind. And its too bad he had to waste all shu resources for the last few campaigns.

  • @victorhng ur a dumb faggot nuff said

  • @TheAlkio Im not gonna let you ruin my mood jus because of something i posted 6 months ago. Assuming ur a dynasty warriors fanboy or troll take u can take ur argument to the scholars of shen zhou website. hav a nice day:)

  • @victorhng and your like one of those inchohorent pricks who always state that luo guozhang novel is fake, bla bla bla, "most of it fake"? Did you even read the book, it stated that the story is based on 75% true 25% fake.

  • hehe, LIu Shan is fat.

  • shu reminds me of the arthurian legend.. Liu Bei ideal king.. King Arthur.. Merlin.. Zhuge Liang.. Liu Bei and his brotherhood.. Guan Yu Zhang Fei.. and his other generals... the round table of brotherhood... female betrayed the king... Guinever... Liu Bei's wife ran off with his son... hahaha.....cud it be across all that distance.. the europeans have watchin our chinese affair carefulli.. or maybe there are alot of aliens who kno soul transfer took over human body.. haha that cant be true

  • I will give a quick summary of the three kingdoms....

It started in 184 A.D. A man named Zhang Jiao cured the sick with false miracles and one day while he was walking he found a man who handed him an ancient text titled "The Way of Peace" and from there he formed a militia in order to do Heavens bidding he named himself heaven's and from this a high commander was called He Jin along with Huangfu Song and two others from this led the eunuchs assassinating He Jin......................

  • @hanjiyo Continued .....Dong Zhuo abdicating the eldest brother (Emperor) for the youngest, this leading to Ding Yuan opposing Dong Zhuo, Dong Zhuo buying off Lu Bu Ding Yuan's adopted son Lu Bu murdering Ding Yuan, Cao Cao plotting with Wang Yun to kill Dong Zhuo, but Lu Bu witnessed what was gonna happen so Cao Cao fled, Wang Yun using his adopted daughter to evolve a scheme to kill Dong Zhuo, This led to the coalition,Dong Zhuo Flees and burns Luo Yang, Sun Jian Finds Imperial Seal .........

  • @hanjiyo Continued ......Fakes sickness and tries to go to the Southland, Liu Biao attacking to recover the seal for Yuan Shao, Sun Jian and Liu Biao becoming enemies, Dong Zhuo Taking Diao Chan from Lu Bu, Lu Bu killing Dong Zhuo, Niu Jin and Li Jue to kidnap the Emperor Cao Cao to kill them,I will skip a lot because I dont wanna spam to much, but Sun Quan had the southland Liu Bei had the riverland Cao Cao had the Whole heartland most of everything else but eventually things turned and ......

  • @hanjiyo Sorry but another continued.......And the Jin Dynasty United China Because Liu Chan Submitted (Although he should have took his life for failing his father. Sun Xiu Submitted eventually failing his Father,Uncle and Grand Father. So neither Wu,Shu-Han or Wei united China in the end.

  • @hanjiyo It was a good thing Liu Shan and Sun Hao surrendered

  • "The Brightest Stars only burn half as long." Can't agree more.

  • @UltimateCefiro

    Well said.

  • dang i wish i could bring him antibiotics or something.

  • make me want to cry, when zhuge liang still dreaming shu will restore united china...

  • 刘禅就是个悲剧....

  • Shu got the best Warriors and cooler uniforms

    but got the smallest army

  • The writer of the novel 罗贯中 thought that Shu is the orginal royal family so he wrote that Shu was stronger and more powerful with a lot of powerful guys

  • it's only because of zhuge liang that shu survived so long, what a pity.

  • Liu Chan you fat piece of shit, if you went to see Zhuge Liang he could of told you about the plans for the future, but you listened to your idiotic eunuchs.

Its a shame that he died...

  • The first offenisve should of use the combination of Wu and shui rather than just shui alone

  • was this a real story which had happened in china's history? or is it all fiction

  • It happened in China's history. :)

The novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is based on events in the Three Kingdoms period in China's history. Not everything is real in that book, but 75% of them are real.

  • not so sure. because there's also a novel like you said romance of the three kingdom or san guo yan yi. but people say it never happened before, and diao chan might never existed T.T

  • some true, some fiction. most of characters really existed, but many events are fictional

  • @aloozer yeah. It is a true story in Chinese history, and Zhuge Liang was(is) the wisest military commander of all times.

  • 还是很感人的阿

  • 毫无疑问,我们曾经是强大的民族.河山壮阔,英雄辈出.出国后才越发对自己的国家了解更多.

  • Zhuge Liang's inability to unite China does not make me feel any less respect for him at all. This is because we can still congratulate him on living the life of such an exceptional, unique and timeless legend.

  • i read a book and it says

that when zhuge liang is answering question, he dead.

  • I believe they changed it in this show for more dramatic effect.

  • when a man honorable, great, and smart as Zhuge Liang dies...even the enemy pays tribute...thats when you know you lived a life of worthy.

  • Spot on

    I totally agree

  • The enemies were on their knees when Jiang Wei died too.

  • Comment removed

  • 鞠躬尽瘁,死而后已

I could die in content only after I've spared no energy in the performance of my duties

  • If we look at this from purely the novel point of view, the message the author was trying to convey is that 1. being a workaholic is a bad thing that leads to poor health and 2. you can drastically effect the world even beyond death (significant in his willingness to leave his knowledge for future generations)

  • OMFG

i cannot express my anger to Liu Bei's son

Because of that stupid son of ***** some of the best generals died.

If it wasnt for him Shu woulda won

    Stupid assh0le!!!!

  • Prime Minister

  • this part so touchy.. zhuge liang is dreaming about Liu family can reunited china again...

  • what dose the empty throne scene imply?

  • The empty throne scene might represent Zhuge Liang's longing for Liu Bei? That Liu Bei died so early and hence wasn't able to witness Zhuge Liang's achieving their ultimate goal (the dream sequence)

I think that's it but I'm only guessing, sorry =/

  • No, Zhuge Liang wasn't able to achieve his goal of reuniting the country, so sadly it's only a dream.

  • @Titan9999 Doesn't matter. Someone would finally reunit China, because people never allow China stay in separate. United China = The end of the war.

  • @Titan9999 due to many problems. :( like fate doenst let him do this

  • Thats definitely the first thing that came to mind when i saw that, although it was hard, cuz seeing Liang's happy face when the two emperors bowed to Liu Chan, to see his shocked and stricken face after seeing the empty throne...it broke my heart. Other ppl have mentioned that it was also symbolic of his dreams u fulfilled and also an omen of shu's destruction, and I think they also hit the nail on the head, but i think the primary meaning of the empty throne was liang missing Liu Bei.

  • I think that because it is true that Zhuge Liang was truely faithful and loyal because its in his character, but it was also because he truely loved Liu Bei. He literally was his best friend, and vice versa for Liu Bei. Liu Bei didn't swear an oath with him, but he still held him in the highest regard as a friend as well as a strategist. He wanted to fulfill his dream not only cuz it was his duty, but also because it was a close friend's last request. Liu bei...Liang did everything for Liu Bei.

  • wei yan is a traitor after zhuge liang death because the shu army odered to retreat but at last he was killed by ma dai.actually zhuge liang death is beacause lack of sleep, food

  • This is the saddest part

  • So really, was Wei Yan a good guy or bad guy to Shu? Did he mean to rebel or was he 'scapegoated' to be a traitor (in history and novel)? Someone please explain.

  • He was just a victm of a political conflict. I think

  • From my point of view he was scapegoated (in history), he was always at odds with Yang Yi and even somewhat with Zhuge, partley because of his agresivness. After Zhuges death Wei and Yang began to wrangle with each other and slandered each other to Liu Chan, his ministers were suspisious of Wei Yan more then Yang Yi and Wei and Yang ended up fighting each other in open conflict, Wei ended up being killed pursued by Ma Dai. Yang killed Wei's whole family in revenge.

  • Wei never really rebeled, it only seemed that way because of his fight with Yang Yi who was the one who declared Wei a rebel when he didnt. Even in the Novel Yang Yi was seen to be somewhat of a jealous nature as he himself was disasisified with his rank after Zhuge died and similar to the novel said words to the effect that if he submited to Wei he would have had more honors bestowed upon him. Thus yang was expelled and later imprisoned and later commited suicide.

  • can u clarify who's yang yi maybe i'll recognise him if u typed it in chinese but i can't figure out who when u type english

  • Sorry I dont know the chinese character spelling (Im a Canadian Born Chinese). Yang Yi was the one who tried to releive Ma Su at Jieting but didnt make it in time, he is the man Zhuge talks to at 4:39

  • @NeoDragonKnight yes, you're right.

  • so sad that zhuge liang died

  • Oh man...I loved watching that dream scene, even though it was so sad... :'(. It shows what he had been fighting for all those years...but never succeeded...

  • I feel so sad when i look it,look Zhuge Liang died,he is a good man,a clever man!!

  • who do you think is superior, liu bei - cao cao - sun quan?

  • sun quan

  • You mean in the Novel or in real history?

  • after all it is a dream of Zhu Geliang -- defeat Wei and Wu...when he suddenly realise it is all a dream, a hope that may never come true ever since his life is coming to an end..

what a sadness...I cannot help crying everytime when I watch this scene.

Tang Guoqiang is a very good actor in this TV drama, and the dirctor are fantastic too.

I respect Zhu Geliang alot, for not only his wisdom, but also his loyalty, his personality, and much more...

  • i think this is why people say life is too short

  • the song is very nice ! i wish i could download it!!!!

  • You can probably find it. It's called WoLongYin.

  • I think ZHou Yu will be like man of the movie in the red cliff movie :P

  • i wish sima yi is helping the shu army

  • whos the actor that plays zhugeliang?

  • Tang Guoqiang. The best portrait of Zhuge Liang ever. I can't expect anybody better than him.

  • thats wat i said too

i dont think the zhugeliang in upcoming john woos movie will be that imprisive

  • yeh that guy who plays zhuge liang in john woo's red cliff is pretty shit i thought.

i simply think that he doesn't intelligent enough to portray zhuge liang

  • i agree with you too. he is sucker

  • Because of zhuge liang , Shu exist!

  • I also love Sima Yi since he is genius too.

Genius Zhuge Liang and genius Sima Yi, it was such a good battle. Zhuge Liang's proverb 澹泊明志 is always in my heart.

  • His dream....this was when I cried. How sad Zhuge Liang could not accomplish his wish.... Sometimes the heaven let such a good person to die....

  • too bad he died b/c he worked too much. he fought too many smart guys at once

  • He 's in my heart in all time.

  • Zhuge Liang wouldnt have died if he didnt go thru the Southern Campaign ( fought Meng Ho) bc he aged and lost a lot of his health after that campaign

  • this movie make me sad look at him he can't write anymore and walking need someone to help him poor zhuge but he keep thinking of the future

  • what dose the empty throne room scene mean ive always wondered

  • hes thinking about the future and sees that shu is destroyed

  • cool ty

  • he could also be thinking on did he went to the wrong master or not.

  • That was a nice addition.

At least, I think it was an addition...the book doesn't have anything like that, right? Memory fails me.

  • Hee Hee Hee , hmnn . Serve my country loyally ! Ha Ha Ha ! Chinese proverb : Without capable men , GU ZHANG NAN MING !!!!!

  • Zhuge liang - May he be known as a man without equal

  • Poor Zhuge Liang, even in death he thinks only of service to his liege and land. Truly, he was a man of the ages.

  • What Zhuge Dream in his sleep is sure make me a little sad (almost drop their from my eyes a while). It realy touch me deep inside. Dream that was never come true....

  • your mom deserve the land, bitch!

  • how can you say that sima yi was terrified zhuge liang over half the time he was preoccupied with avoiding confrontations with him!

  • Sun Quan and Cao Rui bowing to the corrupt Liu Chan..

    COOL!

  • does someone know whcih disease cased Zhuge Liang's death?

  • sima yi said this to zhuge liang before:" he eat little but work many, how can he stand for long?"

    well my english bad lol

  • I've heard it's TB

    Brain Tumor? wtf....

  • after liu chan became king of shu that was shu's weakest points because he surrounded himself with bad advisors and what not

  • I wish to learn the books Zhugeliang wrote lol

  • shu were the weakest

  • It is true ShuHan was the weakest.Zhuge Liang knew the will heaven but went against it just like Chu Han contention's Fan Zeng going against the will of Heaven.

  • You mean Fan Zeng as in Xiang Yu's advisor?

  • quote "That was a dream I believe. lol haha. Such a tragedy for Zhuge Liang to die without realizing his dream. " it wasn't a dream.

  • That was a dream I believe. lol haha. Such a tragedy for Zhuge Liang to die without realizing his dream.

  • sun quan and cao rui (?) bowing to liu chan...cool! >:)
