@colinfurze maybe you could look into getting a 500cc 2stroke from a Suzuki, Kawasaki, or Honda dirt bike (the older models although i think Kawasaki may still make them. either that or a 350cc 2stroke from a Yamaha banshee as these have tons of mods available for them and one mod can give them 200bhp :P

But yes, that's still very quick. I blame the low top speed on tire spin. :) On an unrelated note, I'm surprised to see a European drag race track which is 1/4 mile long and which is measuring speed in MPH. Seems like there's be more metric units. :)
