I had my Flip Side for about 2 months now.

I would not recommend this wallet.

After a while, it's incredibly limiting only having 9 card slots. I had only room for my Drivers liscence, ATM, credit card, office key (which is int he form of a card), gym card, and some Ralphs / Abertsons cards. You'll be leaving cards at home because your wallet has no room for other stuff (library card, business cards, etc...)

The plastic case and lock are flimsy. Mine broke yesterday. Money wasted.

I just got mine the other day.

Good:

Very thin wallet, a big improvement of my overstuffed leather wallet. Sturdy and stays locked shut. Mine came with a clip that lets you attatch 3 more cards on the outside. Everything is nicely gripped, nothing will fall out.

Bad:

Plastic case was "cheaper" feeling than I expected, and the lock is flimsy. Wallet looks more like a toy, and limited space only lets you cary 9 cards + 2 (if you have the added clip).

@RVjenny The new 3.0 is crap. I can't believe they put a soft cash pocket on the outside. It's taking a step backwards. Flipside should research the proper use of the term evolution. It has devolved into a crap wallet that I wouldn't buy. 2.0 is the best. I hoope they still offer 2.0 for sale.

at 1:48 you put credit card into "picture slot".This is misleading as the faq sheet page states "I carry an RFID Subway pass in wallet & like to wave the wallet by the sensor to pay and get on. Can I do this with Flipside Wallet?

YES you can! The "card side" of the wallet is RFID shielded, but "cash side" is not. Simply put your RFID subway pass into the cash slot behind all of your cash, & wave back of the wallet by the sensor to activate it...". I think the picture side is not rfid shielded?

@ez2curanut It doesn't really matter since the credit card he put in the picture slot hasn't a RFID chip.

To read the information on a regular credit card (magnetic strip) you must pass the card physically through a reader.

i'm afraid this may be to bulky for me. i am looking for something no bigger than folded up dollar bills because i dont like my pockets to feel "full" right now i am using the slim clip and am happy with the size although i am looking for something a little more fancy if anyone has any ideas or comments on the flipside please let me know. thanks

I got the black "STEALTH" one of these about 2 weeks ago. It arrived about 3-4 days after I ordered from their website. It is a great wallet and I carry it in my back pocket with no problem. It is durable and there has not been a day where a cashier or person in line somewhere with me has not commented on how awesome of a wallet it is. I have become an unpaid salesman for the Flipside 2. Highly recommend it to everyone!!!

No not really--no thicker than an i-phone. Its actually pretty small.

It says it is a front pocket wallet and thats where i carry it, ...don't understand how people carry wallets in their back pocket only to sit on it and crush all their credit cards. This wallet protects against that.
