  • This video was uploaded on my birthday:)

  • I have respect for Michael Buble now. Wonderful cover.

  • I love how people will compare one singer to the next! IT'S A COVER! There's only one Dean Martin AND definitely there's the one and only Michael Buble. No comparisons. He's extremely talented :)

  • I love the Billie Holiday version....but, Michael Buble' does it perfectly.....smoothe! Thanks for the post!

  • damnnnn..

it keeps me reminding of the notebook

  • just reminds me of the notebook... brings me to tears.

  • This song will always remind me of Noah and Ali.

  • Michael Bubl;e sings it well but no way near as well as the one and only Dean Martin.

  • I'm glad MB is keeping such an important genre of music alive with his fresh renditions.

I would have preferred to see Michael singing this song but, the photo montage was excellent. Thank you. Sue Ellen

  • I love the way Michael sings this gorgeous song and I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED The Notebook!!!!!! It was such a touching story and I cried my eyes out at the end! My husband grabbed my hand just when I reached for his and we said simultaneously, "that could be us"! I'm also an artist so I really could relate to Rachel McAdams role.

Back to MB's singing; he's immensely talented as a singer/songwriter and as a performer. He'll be still singing for many years to come and I'm so glad he's keeping such

  • his voice is amazing <3

  • nice song..it brings the love stronger.

  • Hands down, 'Ol Blue Eyes' did the best version of this song ever! And no, I'm not knocking on Michael or any of his fans...still love the guy myself! But Frank is just associated with the Original Rat Pack and there's no changing that bygone era lol.

  • I love his voice but no one sings this song like Billie Holiday..

  • che bella musica...grande classe

  • Buble's song style is filling a musical niche for single ladies, divorce's, widows, etc---but does that mean he's good? No. Fair? Ok--his singing lacks style---color, power----he boors me after two songs. But Buble is pleasant to listen to and is nice whle one is making chocalate chip cookies.

  • @windstorm1000 Do you just click on his covers to criticize? I watched other videos where you have commented on his lack of color, power, and style. Why don't you just listen to Frank, then? I mean, I respect your opinion but you complain a lot. It's only a few clicks away from Frank's version.

  • @Salemist3 I was trying to see if his vocal prowess would change from song to song--give him the benifit of the doubt. He didn't. If Sinatra were still alive, Buble would be singing at the county fair--people don't know any better. But Buble is LIVE.

  • The notebook, great movie, the song.... Fantastic! <3

  • Michael brings the classics to life.

  • The original of this song, was in The Notebook. Such a good song

  • Keep in mind that for the week of Dec. 06-2011--his albums are top sellers!

  • SAd that he is in illuminati

  • michael i thank lord for ur voice....no artist can take another's place..but ur place exsits in my heart...i love ur songs and your covers...THAN GOD U EXIST

  • i prefer Billie Holiday's

  • Omg! I love his voice, he has such a classic voice like bing Crosby and frank Sinatra. It's so cool

  • @Dawaz11 Don't EVEN compare him to those two giants. 40 years from now, no one will remember who this guy was. He has no style--very bland voice. You just haven't heard top quality.

  • anybody know where i can find this song? nowhere on itunes or amazon... and I LOVE it.

  • I feel like this song is a lot more emotional and sad, in that Billie did a better job and will always be the master of this song. And while this is more cheerful and nicely done, I don't think he illicits the true feeling from the words.

  • Michael Bublé will inherent the earth.

  • What a singer and what a voice just simply superb Michael. Jimmy from Perth

  • I adore michael buble, but billie's version is definitely better and more emotional

  • im sick of micheal booble getting so many views while true stars like Frank sinatra, nat king cole, and Dean martin are left in the dust

  • @miketheman12100 they're not left in the dust. they're living on through covers made by present day artists. people who watch and listen to the covers of their songs eventually figure out that there are other versions of the song. now i do admit that many people arent familiar with the names of older artists, but most people at least recognize the tunes of songs or certain lyrics...it's like the circle of musical life :)

  • @goldenmonkey330 You are abolutely right, music like michael buble's is like gateway to the classics.

  • @miketheman12100 don't worry we are not all listening to this pale imitation of Sinatra. Buble is like Swiss Miss. Sinatra is Giaredelli chocate. Which is the discerning listener going to listen to??

  • @windstorm1000

I like his music and it keeps Frankie alive. He isn't replacing him just doing his version of the great songs. For an artist you don't like you seem to come here a lot. Doesn't matter that YOU don't like it, HE has the recording contract and I'm guessing you don't. Oh, and btw it's Ghirardelli. Your spelling of it was like Swiss Missed.

  • He sounds damn good

  • The text of this wonderful song should come true in real life. It makes so many memories come back.

    Amarula

  • +i dont see why ppl cant just like MUSIC, it shouldn't matter what kind...just love the music for music's sake :)

  • he not jazz

  • I talked about Michael today in English, and some girl said "Oh he's that author guy right!?"

    Disappointment.

  • @akidnamedeezy Sounds like you need to switch out of that class and surround yourself with more exceptional human beings.

  • one of my favorite songs, from the Notebook, my favorite movie<3

  • @312fearLess Oh yes. I can still hear this from the Notebook!!!!

  • Despite how young or old you are, just shut up and enjoy the music :) Cheers.

  • im very proud of you teenagers writing on this wall... im 25 and been a fan of Michael since the start, his covers are amazing as well as his original songs. I appreciate this kind of music, even though is not new, its still a breath of fresh air from this videos and so called "music" of this day and age. Sometimes im embarrassed to be from this time period. (plus this song is so romantic)

  • I have always been a huge fan of the oldies, jazz, r&b, and those singers like Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. Being 15, you'd probably ask me who am I to say this but I have to tip my hat to Michael. I really appreciate his style and taste in music. He uses that jazzy tune but puts his own little swing in to modernize it. Now, he is one of my musical idols for doing that. Thanks Mike :)

  • Typical Christmas Music...Wonderful! :)

  • promise in my NOTEBOOK !

  • michael , you always do a great job !

  • errrmmm... can i get thumbs up simply for watching this video ??

  • Omg, when I hear this song I always think of the Notebook. Gets me teary eyed every time, great rendition< 3

  • My ovaries are gonna explode.

Frank Sinatra songs as done by Michael Buble.

    OMG.

  • Just finished watching The Notebook.....this song....makes me cry every time D':

  • I SWEAR this man is related to Frank Sinatra o_o

  • Our modern day "Mr. Smooth," and a super recording!

  • beautiful <3

  • To Viewerica- Concerning Billie Holiday's "I'll be Seeing You": I have the Lady in Satan album by Billie Holiday. Holiday sounds like she is either drunk or stoned on that album, and that supposed to be her best work. Because of thaft experience I have concluded she is terribly overrated. I won't waste my time listening to her anymore. She can't compare to Jo Stafford.

  • is this from his very first album?

  • This is nice.....but the definitive "I'll be Seeing You" is Jo Staffords'.

  • @waltertyza What about Billie Holiday?

  • aww the notebook much? :'(

  • Of all the old cats, i think Buble's voice sounds most like Torme - agile, but lighter. Most male singers back then had more chest in their voice, which is not really so pop-friendly now.

  • Nice voice as always, but I'm not picking up much emotive inflection in his voice. Other singers have given a great sense of longing with this song; and also that perhaps the performer was in a tragic state of acceptance and denial. I'm not picking up much of that with Buble here.

  • not as good by far as billie holliday or frank sinatra's versions

  • There is NO narrative. He is like a Vegas-style or Honolulu style copy cat. There are tons of great modern guys that sing standards that don't cover it in cheese like this

  • 63 ppl should go where frank sinatra is now :) what a talent MB!!!

  • Perfect blues singer. But sounds like something from the 40's 50's. Love it.

  • the orchestra could have been better if done differently for this song (esp the first half).

  • @shadeux1 get a job

  • @shadeux1 want candy ?

  • @jouman3000 huh?

    no

  • @jouman3000 i hate candy >.<

  • @shadeux1 i hate you

  • @jouman3000 :O y?

  • @shadeux1 cause u hate candy stupid

  • @jouman3000 i hate getting candy frum strangers

  • @shadeux1 thats gay

  • Супер

  • Stunning rendition of this old standard. I am a total fan of Michael Bublé!

  • just lovely

  • Pretty impressive!!

  • i didnt think he would be able to pull it off but its pretty good i just think he rushed it a bit but i like it

  • Michael has the kind of sexy old fashion kind of voice like Bobby Darin

  • This is great... I remembered it from The Notebook and when I read that he covered it, I had to find it. It didn't disappoint. He's an amazing singer.

  • Today was my grandfathers wake. He died two days ago.

The last thing my grandmother said to him before we closed the coffin was,

"I love you, ill be seeing you<3."

    I started to cry hysterically

  • @toastmuch69 omg :'/

  • we had this at my grandads funeral but the anne shelton version. i love bubles version too though x

  • He reminds me of Sinatra

  • @SDTVlove Er erinnert mich an niemanden. Er ist einmalig !

  • jazz > "rap"

  • I'm proud to be one of the few teens that prefer jazz to Lil Wayne

  • @geminibrat good kid!

  • @geminibrat that made my day.

  • @geminibrat Heck yes! <3

  • @geminibrat str8 up specially this viscous fulla

  • @geminibrat Agreed! Nothing soothes the soul like Jazz and nothing ever will :)

  • @geminibrat not only you :)

  • @geminibrat High Five to that bro!

  • @geminibrat i feel ya XD

  • @geminibrat But not eminem right ? :)

  • @geminibrat don't worry. you're not the wonderful and unique snowflake you think yourself to be. besides, what does it matter what age group likes which music?

  • @geminibrat all i can say is i love them both.

  • @geminibrat

i resent that comment... seeing as i like little wayne alot. but i love every type of music. including opera. classical (yes that means Bach, chopin, etc...), the whole thing about it is you have to be open. and listen to it as though you want to like it. listen to everything with an open mind. and you'll find alot of things out that you never knew before.

  • @cawkbawls you took the words STRAIGHT out of my mouth lol i'm so tired of people trying to prove that they are different through music. music is music if it's good it's good i don't give a crap who wrote it and it doesn't make me less of a person for thinking that

  • @elisolauren exactly. With a century of recorded music you'd think people would stop complaining.

  • @elisolauren Agreed...alot of people seem to think they are "above" their own generation for liking older music over the current which is just kinda being arrogant/cocky (can't find quite the word). I like going clubbing and love current music and ofc. here I am listening to other styles. Gotta love the variety in the world right?

  • @cawkbawls its lil wayne

    hahahaha

  • @cawkbawls Yeah it's good to be open-minded, but when all rap music says the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over again (money, guns, hoes, I'm a pimp, cars, slang words, sex with countless numbers of people), it's hard not to hate it. That's what makes this music so great. There's actually meaning and feeling behind it. These songs have a purpose other than to show how freaking awesome the artist is and how much money they have.

  • @cawkbawls that's great please see my video title Michael buble' has a epic message for all music lovers, just press my channel...!

  • @geminibrat AWESOME; U ARE AWESOME

  • @geminibrat represent :D

  • @geminibrat so Proud to hear this.... these tasteless ppl are sooo boring... Variety is key!!

  • Wow!!!

  • beautiful

  • I'm 19. I graduated when I was 16. I taught myself Japanese and Portuguese and have a JLPT2 certification for Japanese fluency. I've played jazz piano since I was seven. I was invited for a tryout in Japan for a semi-pro Football (Soccer) team.

And music like this (mainly Jimmy Durante's version) has been in my life since my birth.

Hopefully some youngin' (I'm not that old, though) who thinks only lil' wayne can make music will see my comment and understand that music has a bit effect on you.

  • Comment removed

  • I just came back to this song cause i watched the notebook again:')

    this song makes me cry<3

  • Michael Buble is a fucking tool.

  • @Zestybeef so are you

  • @Zestybeef sad, looks like someone needs to grow up and clean up their language. Please stay away from refined society till you can be more civil.

  • I'M 20 AND REALLY LIKE MICHAEL BUBLÉ ,BUT THE MOST PEOPLE MY AGE LIKE STUPID SINGERS.

    This is Real music (2)

  • Why oh why must I be so young yet so in love with oldies music... the kind of music that was real and emotional and beautiful. I want to listen to music like this all day long. I want to hear it playing in stores and on the radio and everywhere. Not the autotuned crap that almost everyone of my era listens to. That kind of "music" doesn't deserve to exist. Period. Today it's all about making money instead of the music itself.

  • I really love this song and Michael just makes it more beautiful with his soothing voice!

  • I'm 17 and I really enjoy this song. Most kids my age like all that autotune crap -_- This is REAL music.

  • @WTFuHEFFER 100% agree with you

  • @WTFuHEFFER You will grow up with class. Cheers.

  • @WTFuHEFFER i resent your comment too... for all the same reasons...

  • Gotta love a bit of Buble

  • Still prefer the ink spots version.....

  • A different generation - but the songs are what make this artist so great ! Since the world changed radically after WWI , the talent of that era was in composers of songs that expressed emotions of the heart and allowed people to truly dance TOGETHER! At that time people actually courted with marriage in mind, Thank God that you are seeing peoples choice in music has MIchael bringing back the best of songwriters for us to enjoy !

  • I grew up with Jazz music all my life ! Wonderful musicians of all types as my father was an accomplished musician. I remembered you recently and fell in love all over again and your music brings a smile to my face ! I really appreciate a great musician but someone who brings real love and passion to the music. Thanks for bringing the music back to me!!!! I be seeing you!!!!

  • whats with all the pictures of Scarlett Johanson?

  • I might be attacked for this, but I like his versions of most songs better than I do Frank's....

  • @ButterFly7428 I feel the same, and I almost feel guilty for doing so. But his voice is so emotional! It makes you feel exactly what he is feeling. When he sings happy songs, it sounds like he is smiling and I smile too. When he sings sadder songs, his voice is heart-wrenching :) So no attacking from me :D

  • never liked him. Noone can compare wth the greats of the past. Too commercial,he climbed aboard the right train. He leaves me indifferent, while Frank moves my soul...

    an excellent product,but too cold.

  • God Bless Michael Buble and his effort to keep REAL music alive! I'm 17, and I apologize on behalf of my entire generation for destroying music...

  • @kentuckydominatesall I'm 17 too, and completely agree. Our 90's music was pretty good though... <3

  • This brings back the times when my folks would go get dressed up and go dance. Back when couples stayed in love and stayed married...for better or worse. No abuse. Just the argument once in awhile about stuff. Sitting and watching one tv ...together as a family. Eating at the dinner table. Going somewhere to picnic or swim. Camping. The beach. Going to the grandparents for the holidays. All the kids opening presents. The romance of the times. Love this song.

  • @Muffett53 aww sounds so great!good old times!

  • beautifullll....

  • wow, simply beautiful <3

  • omg...THE NOTEBOOK theme song....

  • it's so fast.... but i like it :) but billie holiday is always the best :)

  • this song always makes me remember this guy. The small cafe would be the diner he works for and the park across the way would be the park we would lay together and cuddle in. i <3 this song.

  • hes no billie holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm glad to say that when I sing I sound similar to Buble and women love it, now if i was the real thing oh wow the joys that would ensue

  • Yay, Bublé! I like Jo Stafford's as well!

  • the music arrangement stands in compatibility with buble's style and voice quality..... awesome!!!!!

  • I think he is an exceptional artist that has captured the sound, mood, and nostalgic atmosphere of those from the 40's,50's and 60's and has done it with perfection.

He's the best ballad narrative out there!!!!!!!!!!

  • @sellingluxury I absolutely agree. :)

  • I was enjoying this song until I started reading how it's featured in The Notebook.

  • I may be missing something, but i cannot understand why this guy is so popular. I always press like button, when i do like something, but never the thumbs down, because like most things, its a matter of opinion. I find his voice rather weak and lacking emotion, but as already said, opinion!

  • @dorothyparker100 well, he is no where near the amazing singers from the 30's 40's and so on, but he's different because he focuses on this era of music. i think hes okay and i respect him for trying to urge on the past music. and that is my opinion. haha

  • @Tori2120 Jo Stafford!!!!!

  • yesss, the notebook!!!

  • Can't touch the original

  • FAKE & GAY

  • @jlkguy27 you are!

  • @jlkguy27 I think you are the one who is fake and maybe gay!!

  • @jlkguy27

did you get that off of =3, cause thats hilarious!!:)

  • @jlkguy27 as opposed to... real & unhappy?

  • ehhh i like billie holiday better

  • I just don't like this guy :/

  • @cage336 your missing out :(

  • @gat0rgirl13 i love to listen to the guy he's trying to imitate instead, Frank Sinatra (:

  • u know what is funny every time am looking for this song i get Rick Roll'D lol
