Relaxing ones head can be very "safe", I've been relaxed for 25 years and I still have a head full of hair. But, I do recommend relaxers be professionally done by a licensed stylist. Chemicals are just that and can have damaging effects, so you have to be careful. Like with anything, proceed with caution.
JC Penney has alot if mizani and Kera Care products, so if you cant get it sally's, ulta, sephora or local beauty supply, go there cuz they got cupons like everyother weekend!

your hair grows in a certain direction, the direction of your curl pattern. if you wrap it in the opposite direction of the direction it grows in, it pulls on it and causes it to get soar. take a look at your scalp and check out what way it grows in, and wrap it only in that direction.

it won't ruin your hair if you take good care. a hot oil treatment once a month (olive oil works great) can be very useful and strengthens your hair. shampoo only once a week and have your hair trimmed after the relaxer, because it will damage the ends.
oh! and don't have them relax it bone straight. it'll be fragile beyond repair.

the relaxer i use and found it to be help and it may work for you is organic root stimulator olive oil hair relaxer and follow up with there hair care products if you are trying to thicken your hair i would also use nu gro shampoo and conditioner to help your hair thicken like i said everything is not for everyone so based on your hair you would have to try out whats best for you hope that helps
YES! I get mostly roller sets because it's better for the hair. Sometimes I get a body wrap, that's what I had on this video. That's where you get your hair wrapped-then blown out the rest of the way-then flat ironed. AMAZING body that produces. Best wishes for a healthy crown : )

if you relax your hair, will steam from the shower make it frizzy (it does if you straighten it) and what type of relaxer is best (should I use a natural one?) also how should I maintan my hair so that the relaxer lasts and it stays straighter for longer (should I cover my hair at night and avoid water - those sort of things?)
p.s. end care is important. It is the oldest piece of hair that you have but also the new growth on your scalp is just as important as it is in a fragile state. xoxoxo

so could i just use the sulu max grow as a weekly oil for my hair? Does it really help u to get more new growth. Oh and does it smell ok cuz i kno that sulfur can smell kind of funky.

if you relax your hair, will steam from the shower make it frizzy (it does if you straighten it) and what type of relaxer is best (should I use a natural one?) also how should I maintan my hair so that the relaxer lasts and it stays straighter for longer (should I cover my hair at night and avoid water - those sort of things?)
p.s. end care is important. It is the oldest piece of hair that you have but also the new growth on your scalp is just as important as it is in a fragile state. xoxoxo

Every 8 to 10 weeks. Prefereably 10 weeks, I try to wait as long as I can. But can't wait to long because that can cause major breakage.

The main thing that helps itch is washing and deep conditioning. Kera Care has a formula grease for itchy scalp.

I love your video, you have an great engery about your hair. I am glad to see someone on here telling people to go to an hair stylist, most hair care videos I have seen talk about doing everything yourself,which personally I would never do my own relaxer.
