It sounds to me like alot of the praise to cold fusion is based mostly on faith. I agree that it is a viable and excellent source of power, and I believe it's possible... but so is sustained hot fusion, and we're just so much closer to that- it would slow the development of hot fusion to push resources into cold. Wouldn't it be better to take 4 out of the 6 billion we spend in the middle east with bombs and instead throw it at hot fusion? Cold fusion can call "nexties"

Big oil/pharma etc. owns the politicians. So, I'm not a critic. I do have a healthy amount of skepticism, though. I would suggest that the answer to all our energy problems might lie with Star Scientific PLC special adaptation of Muon Catalysed Fusion. It would be a great service to humanity if you spoke in terms everyone could understand better. What about Brown's gas? Why can't we power all our vehicles and machines with water? Inventors are now making very efficient low-voltage electrical devices to separate water into it components of hydrogen and oxygen. Cars are now powered by them. They exhaust only steam or water. Why invest in any form of nuclear energy, when water could power every individual machine at its source? Aren't all nuclear plants ticking time bombs? I would suggest that the answer to all our energy problems might lie with Star Scientific PLC special adaptation of Muon Catalysed Fusion. See their website and read the blog by their chairman "The Big Question by Andrew Horvath". Also their youtube videos especially "In the footsteps of fusion" Their whole focus is to overcome the alpha sticking problem by creating more pions (which decay to muons) cheaply. Their energy source is the virtually inexaustable dueterium in seawater. OUR FUTURE !?

1) protons repell each other.
2) electrons form "orbits" around other nuclei upon which a repulsive force is created by said electron shells either when partially filled or fully energy levels...

What about Brown's gas? Why can't we power all our vehicles and machines with water? Inventors are now making very efficient low-voltage electrical devices to separate water into it components of hydrogen and oxygen. Cars are now powered by them. They exhaust only steam or water. Why invest in any form of nuclear energy, when water could power every individual machine at its source? Aren't all nuclear plants ticking time bombs? I have a physics and engineering degree I'm not in the field but just from basic understanding there is no chance two nuclei can have enough energy to fuse to let the strong nuclear force take over without a shell of uranium exploding around it in a very special symmetry that is the H bomb.. or you need massive gravity like the sun to fuse and only in it's core

I did watch the video and I wasn't convinced... but if venture capitalists have been convinced it means some very smart people believe in it... but remember belief doesn't make it true :) Evidence does and it has to be able to be duplicated by many people from all ove the work otherwise it says a hypothesis, not even a theory and definitely not a fact.

Before the internal combustion engine, ( which was made to run on alcohol), Oil Production companies would line agricultural fields with gasoline (and petroleum distilates, ie, hair spray -air freshener , etc.) , and burn it to dispose of it. At 09:45 in an annotation you say kW/hour, which is incorrect. That would mean 1 kilowatt per hour, or 1000 joules per second per hour. You're getting kW/hour mixed up with kWh or kWhour.

We've had free energy solutions lying around collecting dust since Tesla! Because big industry can't put a meter on it, it doesn't exist. Now we've got Marko Rodin, today's Tesla, receiving the same cold shoulder treatment. What about Jacque Fresco's work? There's always been an abundance of innovative ideas to improve efficiency, quality of life, but profit, ego and control have hindered the natural advancement of society.

Well said Alien Scientist Keep up the good work pal, I reckon the PTB already know it works. Just too many high up billionaires are running scared regarding the threat it poses to their vast monopoly & wealth. However the same could be said about the Horse and Cart v the automobile. Things WILL change, only a matter of time!
