I think that is totally awesome that they will pick people who are handicapped. I remember watching during the summer of 2008 that a hard of hearing contestant was called and they had someone voicing their sign language. That person didn't get up on stage, but I would like to see that clip again.
im wondering when a wheel chair contestant plays how they get up on stage.. does the show have to stop tape wait for them to get a wheelchair ramp, or how does a wheelchair contestant get up on stage and how is it put together on the show, do they continue tape, or do they have to stop, and then edit some pieces together while handicapped man is helped out of the studio to the rear entrance, and then they start tape again?
Yes I was wondering the same thing. Plus, Paul seemed to know he was going to get called. He did'nt seem very surprised. Cause it's a fact that contestants are not randomly selected... I think Paul even knew he was getting on stage. That was a big setup. The ramp was installed before he "came on down". The rest of the audience probably saw that coming when the ramp was installed. Cause I clearly hear many people boo-ing when the car is revealed 4:27 . Am I the only one hearing the croud booh ?
@HeilleZanAllezVous I heard them boo as well. Idk if you know who ijustine is on youtube but she was on TPIR a few months ago. And it was just kind of ironic that an internet celeb was the last one to come up on stage and (gasps) she won the showcase! lol.
@HeilleZanAllezVous Yes it's a fact that contestants aren't randomly selected. However, they are not informed before hand. And those are"oooh"s. A common effect in the 90s.
Nobody since this episode has gotten all numbers right in one try in Cover Up. Cover Up should be retired from the way that it has been going. No wins.
Hardly anyone wins Temptation, Triple Play, Step Up, It's in the Bag, Switcheroo, Punch-a-bunch, or Golden Road. Should those games be retired as well?
In fact, Plinko has NEVER been won. Should that game be retired?
Going back percentages, this previous season had the highest win percentage of the last 8 seasons. Also, winning percentages have gone continuously go up beginning with Season 34.
Scot probably works for a retail store.

I guess nowadays Price would not allow handicapped people as the steps aren't wheelchair accessible.

@GameShowNetwork They have special ramps at CBS Television City, and they've made the new ramps coordinated because of HD.

@WhiteHatBobby Unless they can build a ramp near the steps. A stopdown will no longer be necessary.

That wheelchair ramp has been there since 1982, TPIR's camera-work and editing is just that amazing.
Haha, just kidding...that second part is completely bogus.

You could add Five Price Tags to that list too. Of course, they shouldn't be retired.

From Season 29 - 36, it has been won 36%. The games I listed had all been won 25% of the time or less.

I read over the last few years it is being won less and less, but I could be wrong.
