  • Scot probably works for a retail store.

  • I was watching that episode when it came on (the part where the handicap got it right the first time around) and I never forgot it!

  • Somewhere here on youtube is a clip of this guy on Weakest link with Anne Robinson when it was on NBC briefly 10 years ago.

  • Anyone else thing this guy must be insufferable in real life?

  • chrisvision07,This is awsome! I cant' believe these 2 things happened on the same episode! Kudos to you for uploading this.

  • BOB:

Paul, You came up at exactly the right time. Why? Tell him what he can win!

    Announcer:

A lifetime supply of GYM SHOES!!!!!!!!!

  • lol if they would be giving out a bike

  • How would he drive it ?

  • @PuI2ePLaYaZ Hand controls.

  • I guess nowadays Price would not allow handicapped people as the steps aren't wheelchair accessible.

  • @GameShowNetwork They have special ramps at CBS Television City, and they've made the new ramps coordinated because of HD.

  • @WhiteHatBobby Unless they can build a ramp near the steps. A stopdown will no longer be necessary.

  • I think that is totally awesome that they will pick people who are handicapped. I remember watching during the summer of 2008 that a hard of hearing contestant was called and they had someone voicing their sign language. That person didn't get up on stage, but I would like to see that clip again.

  • besides TPIR, has a person in a wheelchair ever been on a gameshow?

  • I want to see Paul play plinko.

  • They always have the cars for the people that cannot drive them. :o(

  • I make him look stupid when it comes do the game rules

  • two great wins by two great players!!!...go scot and go paul!!!

  • I wanna see him play plinko or the price race.

  • wonder if they fitted the car with controls

  • That wheelchair ramp has been there since 1982, TPIR's camera-work and editing is just that amazing.

Haha, just kidding...that second part is completely bogus.

  • Original air date: September 27, 1999

  • im wondering when a wheel chair contestant plays how they get up on stage.. does the show have to stop tape wait for them to get a wheelchair ramp, or how does a wheelchair contestant get up on stage and how is it put together on the show, do they continue tape, or do they have to stop, and then edit some pieces together while handicapped man is helped out of the studio to the rear entrance, and then they start tape again?

  • Yes I was wondering the same thing. Plus, Paul seemed to know he was going to get called. He did'nt seem very surprised. Cause it's a fact that contestants are not randomly selected... I think Paul even knew he was getting on stage. That was a big setup. The ramp was installed before he "came on down". The rest of the audience probably saw that coming when the ramp was installed. Cause I clearly hear many people boo-ing when the car is revealed 4:27 . Am I the only one hearing the croud booh ?

  • @HeilleZanAllezVous I heard them boo as well. Idk if you know who ijustine is on youtube but she was on TPIR a few months ago. And it was just kind of ironic that an internet celeb was the last one to come up on stage and (gasps) she won the showcase! lol.

  • @HeilleZanAllezVous Yes it's a fact that contestants aren't randomly selected. However, they are not informed before hand. And those are"oooh"s. A common effect in the 90s.

  • I miss Bob! What a gentleman, and a fantastic host.

  • Don't we all miss him. And before anyone even thinks of saying it: He is NOT dead. Just retired.

  • they should have people with disabilities on more often

  • well its time for another fellow be on show in a wheelchair on show with drew now.....and i not bein odd am i

  • bob is the best

  • Is it just me, or are people in the audience booing when Bob announces the car as a prize for Paul?

  • no, i think its just an "ooh"

  • Did they use that ramp only once?

  • It was used again in season 32 or 33 for a wheelchair contestant who played Switcheroo.

  • wow i honestly can't remember the last time i saw hi lo won...good posting

  • "Cover Up" was played during the Million Dollar Spectacular and somebody won it.

  • I think that's the first time I have ever seen a CBS page help a contestant spin the wheel.

  • Nobody since this episode has gotten all numbers right in one try in Cover Up. Cover Up should be retired from the way that it has been going. No wins.

  • Hardly anyone wins Temptation, Triple Play, Step Up, It's in the Bag, Switcheroo, Punch-a-bunch, or Golden Road. Should those games be retired as well?

In fact, Plinko has NEVER been won. Should that game be retired?

  • You could add Five Price Tags to that list too. Of course, they shouldn't be retired.

  • From Season 29 - 36, it has been won 36%. The games I listed had all been won 25% of the time or less.

  • I read over the last few years it is being won less and less, but I could be wrong.

  • Going back percentages, this previous season had the highest win percentage of the last 8 seasons. Also, winning percentages have gone continuously go up beginning with Season 34.

  • It's moments like these that make the show so much fun to watch!!

  • cover up on the MDS if you get it on the 1st try you win a million dollars.

  • Was that the first time they got it right away in Cover Up?

  • Let's see..

    Smart-guy scene: show-off

    Wheelchair guy scene: Whooaa!

  • The Hi-Lo player would have done very good at Check-Out

  • Bob always had a heartfelt laugh. LOVE IT!!!

  • YOur clip is AMAZING!!!

  • WOW! This Was Amazing!

  • what year is this from?

  • 1999

  • omg - i must be going blind
