  • warm water freezes smoother, not faster(something to do with the molecular structure)and also bonds better to the existing ice because it melts the top slightly and then new and old freeze as one.

  • @ImTheMoneyMan780 no its true,warm water freezes better but just WARM not hot,if its just around 65 or 70 degrees itl freeze better and faster,cold water will take longer

  • no it just melts the ice you have already its better with cold water on cold reallly cold days so itll frezz faster

  • I saw a few tarp comments. I used a blue 30x40 tarp for my rink and have noticed it help the ice melt quicker. I would reccomend a clear sheet of plastic, which I will try this year. Love the rink!
