LOL yeah I have a buddy who plays piano, so I picked up a few things from him in a sense, mostly youtube and google though. He even said that everyone starts with C Major because its the easiest scale and the most eye catching one seeing that its all white keys. I am happy I moved out of it though, I only go back to it every now and then.
