I was in this focus group and they had us watch several negative McCain ads before the debate, and no negative Obama ads. This could have easily influenced the focus groups decision on the debate.

Did you see the actual FOX poll taken after the debate and not the focus group? It was like McCain 80% and Obama 20%.

And if MSNBC did a poll of people who watch their network (and who thus vote Dem) the split would be Obama 80% and McCain 20%. What's damning here is that this was a focus group of undecided voters, conducted on FOX in real time during the debate, and Obama came out very much on top. Both candidates were strong last night and shored up their supporters -- the undecideds were the ones who needed to be swayed.
