I hate that she killed Helen! It makes me so angry but rage for Carrie. But Norma, did get killed. She in fact, had a very special death just suited for her nasty character. Carrie loosened the backboard of a baskethoop and it flipped around injuring her back and then falling onto her head, smashing it into the ground.

I cheered for Carrie in the original AND in any remakes. These upitty fucking snot bag 'think they're better than anyone else' cocksucking jocks and popular bitches need this sort of treatment. The ending of the original was more meaningful when Carrie send the knives to her mother's death in the pose of Christ crucified on the cross and died together in their burning house. In the remake, Carrie kills her mother by stopping her heart. Carrie lives on hiding. Not much meaning, for I would be in total guilt and kill myself if I knew I was responsible for the deaths of over 75 people.

Actually, in the book, Carrie does infact stop her mother's heart. But she ends up dying from the knife wound.
