True to Ford's legacy, they lie in the first two sentences.. .Firs this car is NOT "all new". All "premium"? ..Nope. Any vendor hat sell to Ford knows how much Ford pays for their components, and Ford NEVER pays more than anyone else. When you buy the cheapest version of every component, no metter how well you build it, you still end up with the same "lowest-bidder" welfare cadillac on the road...I wish Ford would stop calling every new car a "game changer" or some other equally hollow name...

uh, its a Taurus. As soon as it out performs my Infiniti or the neighbor's Lexus, I'll stop hating. And not just out perform, it will have to out do those cars in materials, MPG,... everything. But I don't see a company that begs the government for money doing any of that. And yes, I'm a hater.
but yet ford has beat many foreign manufacturs in quality..their mercury brand is #2 right behind lexus in dependibility & the ford motor company has more five star crash test ratings than any other car brand in america..the most fuel efficient suv's & theyve beat toyota in quality. & Ford has said that it does not need any money from the government..& in 2010 they will introduce 2 vehicles with self parking technology..all while being affordable,& a more advanced hybrid system on the new fusion
Its just that Lexus' luxury rivals BMW's. The IS350 hits 60mph as fast as (if not faster than) BMW 335i. Additionally the VQ series engine found in my 'POS' G35 has consecutively been an award winning engine for over 10 years. Finally, if the Taurus is available with 355-hp it better beat the G35(306-hp and only 268lb-ft of torque). Anyway, enjoy your Taurus, sounds like it will gone down in history as one of the best cars ever.
