i got this mod myself and I gotta say, its a shame the team didn't get further with this, at least in my version there's a not telling that they released what they got, and instead of bosses there's a whole lot of guards instead :/ but this is a mod so maybe someone picks it up and finish it :) still this is the nicest wolf3D has ever looked :D

@terminegger, No, a Source Engine game. (HL2 uses that engine, and all games Valve made after HL2 also run on it)

But seeing as it has the exact sounds and icons from Half-Life 2, it's a more of a Half-Life 2 mod than it is just "a source engine game".

Left 4 Dead is a source engine game, but it doesn't have all the Half Life 2 sounds and hud.

@Masterlink981 It's not done. This is the version from 2009, so if you want all that stuff, go to Mod DB and download the final version. It's called ReWolfenstein 3D.

@Masterlink981 Well, do you have Half-Life 2 or any Source game? If you do, then there should be a folder called "wolf3d" or something like that. Essentially the name of the mod. Take this folder and put in Program Files>Steam>Steamapps>Sourcemo­ds. Reboot Steam and you are done. If you do not have a Source game, download a program called Steam and buy Half-Life 2, then complete the actions above. Hope this helped.

hmm there is a lot of stuff to do in this mod :D for example the nazi flags should be 3D and not just a texture and also the hitler pictures needs to be real objects and not textures,and all textures needs to be in higher resolution. he he I am not whining i think its a great job so far.and its better than all source-ports I have seen like "newwolf"

Nice. And grenades and exploding barrels?! Pretty cool. But I hope they add the classic Wolf3D dialog... you can't meet Hans Grosse and NOT have him GUTEN TAG! Also, hearing the guards yell "halt!" was a key in the game play.

But they made another version for quake 3 arena that avoided that.
