I never said it was not a capable 4x4. I said it was junk made and the chain drive sucked. When it was working correctly it was ok but alot of maintence. It certaintly was not the driver.

Lot of maintainance?? because the driver used it in a bad way i think, i have one polaris 425 exact the same as that one since 1998 with the original chains and wheels, i only had to change brake pads.

On our 425 4x4, we've never had the chain come off, it has made it through just about anything in 4wd, and I have only ever gotten it stuck in about 5 feet of mud in a chisel plowed field.And we have almost no tread on the rear tires...So maybe it's just the driver

It's a single cylinder, liquid cooled 4 stroke! One of Polaris's better engines. What ever you do DO NOT BUY ONE!!!!!! I never had mine in water that was really that deep but the 3 chains for the chain drive is a pain in the ass. I would never buy another Polaris but that's just my opinion

yea it is but since those videos I really got it running right by putting a set of dual 28 carbs on it. Now its perfect! But whats even nicer is my new 08 Brute force 650i 4x4 i replaced this shitty polaris with.
