  • funny this is that while passing a still in use train yard, at the very end was a decaying caboose. Kind of sad to see it go like that

  • Where have all the cabooses gone??? i remember asking my mom that when trains no longer had a caboose on them. Trains on the CSX route that passed through my home town all had a caboose until about 1993 when i was only 3 years old. i remember waiting for the caboose to go by so we could wave to the conductor. i am proud to have been able to see the end of an era. I miss the caboose a lot.
