Parker was NEVER a top 5 HW fighter. Ever. Oh, he fought top fighters when he occasionally played, but absolutely nobody can legitimately say he was a force for a decade. Top 5 guys spend their career on the bench and in the box, NOT the minors.
the canucks were a dope team with jovo bert naslund morrison linden ohlund and only if they had luongo back then with the old team and the sedins and matt cooke sami salo ruttu chubarov sopel
Cloutier would have fucked Roy's old ass up. Roy can barely beat his wife anymore, let alone a man in his prime. Roy was smart to keep assaulting his son and wife instead. He's the NHL's Hulk Hogan. Horrible father, washed up pro athlete.
When he jumps a player and doesn't have his fight strap attached so the jersey just slides off and the other goalie doesn't have anything to hold onto. Yeah hes a decent fighter then. Not when he actually squares off with someone though...

I've seen Cloutier fight with Salo. Anyone would've beaten him up! If you look at Roy, he's fought with much better fighters. Plus, he's the greatest goalie of all time. Cloutier backed down here, 'cause he knew that. I think that Roy would've won this fight.
Yeah because I acted really tough in my response......I stated the obvious fact that Parker would destroy Bertuzzi. Any reasonable hockey fan would be aware of this.
He jumped off the bench and hid behind the officials.....Todd wanted to try to get in the scrum but would never square off man to man with Parker. Now if Parker had his back to Bertuzzi then we all Todd can do damage..........Do you need that history lesson?
ya he jumped the boards just to hide behind the officials....man are you biased. he went after Parker because he wanted a piece of him. maybe he wouldnt have beat Parker one on one,but hes not scared of him.
It's fairly obvious he jumped the boards because he knew Jovanovski would get his ass kicked and this is Todd's way of showing he's a "tough guy" (Which apparently means doing something dumb for no reason. He IS really good at that, but that's not a good thing) But Todd most certainly didn't "want a piece" of Scott. He's borderline retarded, but I doubt Bertuzzi thinks he can square off with Parker successfully
@garfieldhead Bertuzzi could very well be the strongest guy in the league, and he is a very good fighter. He just never goes all out because his intentions were never to hurt anyone.
@3OH3Fulham Bertuzzi woulda murdered Parker, parker is a classless bum. He(Parker) was exposed this same year, thats why you dont ever hear from him...
@3OH3Fulham Takes one to know one buddy... anyway, any real hockey fan knows parker was considered the toughest guy around up to this time... then i believe tony twist or someone just brutaly beat parker down... I didnt say he never played again, i just said he got exposed... and he did...
@paclives692002 By anyone who followed hockey? He was a top 5 HW for most of those years. You have already proved several times you literally know nothing about the game...
@3OH3Fulham no, i have literally talked to sports writers who didnt know he was in the league "9 more seasons" either, so calm down there... I may not know about abscure shitty avs players, but im pretty sure i can hold my own with you or anyone on the substance of hockey, not just opinion based, like who's the toughest... thats all this is, opinion, you think he was top 5 HW after Probert exposed him, so now who "knows nothing about the game"?
@paclives692002 Stu Grimson, Krzysztof Oliwa, Donald Brashear, Georges Laraque, Zdeno Chara, Jody Shelley, Chris Simon, Krzysztof Oliwa, George Parros, D.J. King, Eric Godard.
All beaten by Scott Parker. Given your responses, I'm not expecting an intelligent reply from you. But you can try after you ask your "sports writers" friends who half of the hockey players listed above are.
Just because YOU are ill informed about a player, doesn't mean that that player was "never heard from again"
@Br3nd3n14 Rypien is a great fighter for his size. The issue is that Parker has about half a foot on him....and at least 40 pounds (depending on the time). They are in a different weight class in my opinion. Parker's size would beat Rick, at least thats the way I see it.
Todd left the bench to join the scrum and hide behind the officials. He would never square off with Parker man to man. Now if Parker had his back to Bertuzzi then, as we all know, he can do damage.......Do you understand that history lesson?

Cloutier "backed down" because the Ref told him to GTF back into his crease. Dan would have gone nuts and taken on the whole Aves bench.

If you watched some of the other fights Bertuzzi has had you would see that he has no trouble defending himself in a fight
Also, he was not hiding behind the refs, the refs were trying to stop the fight because you may or not know, they do that sometimes
He would've fought Moore face to face but Moore was too much of a chicken shit
Congrats for jumping on the "ihatebertuzzi" bandwagon though, way to think for yourself

Youre an idiot. Bertuzzi is cunt and a disgrace. Todd wanted nothing to do with Parker. Scott would absolutely demolish Bertuzzi. Hands down.
