Gotta love anything dealing with the what used to be called "Pier 20" when it was in Norfolk. I was onboard from '97-'01 and had a blast! We did a 6th fleet "stint" in '99 to replace the LaSalle so that was pretty awesome! Glad to see the ship is doing well! I experienced more then 1 "steel beach picnic"
