if I want a film blowup using 1080i/24pA- do I edit in a 23.98fps timeline in FCP or do I edit in 24fps timeline. I'm not quite sure of the exact setting I'm suppose to use when importing my 1080i/24pA footage. The whole 2:3:3:2 pulldown confuses me. In the sequence settings it wants to compress at 1080p30.. so confused.
Don't forget that prime lenses also breath a little less than zoom lenses, particularly if the zoom is on wide where the breathing can look like a zoom!
The best lenses for this system if you are pulling focus a lot is a prime cine lens.
I went for an SGPro over this system because working upside down and back to front is almost impossible when following fast action. The SGPro has a corrector so you see the correct image in the viewfinder.
Personally I think if you get the SG vs the Red Rock you are getting the same function with a little bit of a different look to set your self apart from everyone else and cheaper :) But RedRock is always great because they stand behind you huge!
wake me up when this is over pls

what kind of Mattebox is that? is it a 4x4 or 4x5.6 or even bigger?
I want to know when you shoot with the 24mm wide angle lens, if you ever get shadows on the edge?
I'm getting a mattebox and I just want to make sure I don't get a small one...
