If you want the concept taillight, you're probably going to have to take it to a mod shop or have one custom made and swapped with the production car's taillight.

well actualy the RT and the SRT8 both take off 0 to 60 pretty close but the end result is both cars are faster according to the top speed like the RT goes 0 to 60 in abt 5.7 n the srt8 around 5.2 to 5.3 but the top speed is impressive
well yeah its a heavy car but its still muscle i mean it still goes 160 to 180 mph. and the mustang gt is lighter and it goes 0 to 60 in like 5.2 seconds so for a heavy car to accelerate as a good as a stang n also have a high speed we cant know the challenger

The GT runs a 13.9.----& the 4 door CHARGER Automatic(no 5 speed available) runs 14.0 & that's a 4 door!! Honestly, I'm more of a mustang guy, but can't the CHALLENGER at least keep up with the stang?? IM a HUGE Mustang fan and i also like the new Camaro but Dodge did a very good job on this Challenger. It would be a hard to beat car. But if you have been paying attention at all to Dodge they are running out of money. Example: The New 2008 Chargers are re using spare parts from the 2007 Chargers such as the struts and shocks. Idk if Dodge will have the money to produce enough of these to make money it might be limited.
ALL cars have issues, Ford, Dodge , Chevy doesn't matter, pick your poison and buy what you love. I personaly love this car and can't wait to see the pony cars back on the road again, let the wars begin!!!

I've seen videos of quarter mile runs, you can probably even find here on youtube with a newer stock Mustang GT being able to pull ahead. Hell the new V6 Mustang, a practically stock one was able to tie in with the 5.7L HEMI.

Im a die hard Mopar fan. When this was announced to go into production no one was any happier than I was...until I find this things going to be a slug at 4100Lbs its going to get embarassed by the competition on the street.I wish they never would have done this now...its not done correctly. Converting the chassis of a 4 door sedan into this....Nope!

it looks great though, my supra weighed 3800 lbs and at 486whp would nearly stop my hear on acceleration lol. This car looks awesome in black, I'd personally like to have one.

IM a HUGE Mustang fan and i also like the new Camaro but Dodge did a very good job on this Challenger. It would be a hard to beat car. But if you have been paying attention at all to Dodge they are running out of money. Example: The New 2008 Chargers are re using spare parts from the 2007 Chargers such as the struts and shocks. Idk if Dodge will have the money to produce enough of these to make money it might be limited.

I hope the engine package is a lot more powerful than they originally stated. Cause GM plans on putting a more powerful engine in the new camaro than this 6.1 ltr Hemi.
Seein' how GM dealt with the Viper this year, I don't think they'll want to be second to the Challenger either. My heart is with Mopar but my intellect says GM will out power them all.

GM has no idea what there going to do with the camaro its not even built yet and they don't even have a platform to put it on. Gm waited to see what dodge would rate the hp on the viper and then rated the corvete conviently higher. The ACR Viper owns Z06

to the poster of this video.. I dunno about GM but Ford doesn't need to listen it has been doing retro now for awhile. 1964- 2008 the Mustang has been in production.. this car hasn't been around since, like you said, '70.
Ford produced the Shelby GT500 just like the ones of old and just recently put out the King of the Road (KR) edition by shelby. So, GM needs to be the one listening mostly because right now Ford is top of the modern day muscle scene

I gave my Praises for "best retro Re-design" car to the Mustang by FAR this this car showed up not too long ago. I find the Camaro kinda Space'y and a little too far out. This ones like the Mustang, keeps it simple. for the Most part.

underneath it all is is still just a Dodge Charger / Chrysler 300C (LX Platform), nothing special except the exterior looks really and that amount of money it will cost.
As for speed, being 6.1L based as the Charger / 300 SRT8, it's not going to be that fast. I've seen videos of quarter mile runs, you can probably even find here on youtube with a newer stock Mustang GT being able to pull ahead. Hell the new V6 Mustang, a practically stock one was able to tie in with the 5.7L HEMI.
