really? i know some drummers do that during their breakdowns...but its usually constant 16th notes on the bass drum... Cameron is the only drummer ive heard (so far) that keeps constant 16th notes along with playing the same rhythm as the guitars during the breakdowns. Thats why it sounds so catchy to me :)

Love this band, one of my favorite songs off of this amazing cd. The only bands I see competing with this for best album of the year, are All Shall Perish, The Faceless, After the Burial. and Iwrestledabearonce. And deathcore is a seperate genre from prog metal, deathmetal, etc. They do have core elemnts. listen to the first album, its got lots of hardcore chugging, but yet melodic progressive elements.Theybve basically just turned up the melodic and progressive sound, but they are in fact DEATHCORE.
