@mikutabloopers2 He didn't kill anyone but he has been arrested on suspicion of killing his wife. The trial is shown in the Christmas special.

The strong scenes while they are saying their vows, the honeymoon scene so tastefully done and so typical Bates and Anna (sweet and endearing) and then the final scene where Anna proclaims her love in front of the whole staff as he's led off in handcuffs. @ellenkingsley Looks like he is not, because he has been sentenced to death for the intentional murder of his first wife, so he could be with Anna. So, I believe justice was served.

@jblakecubsfan18 I don't think you watched the christmas special all that closely. He was reprieved and is now just sentenced to life imprisonment. Brendan Coyle had already started filming series 3. He will be in the new series. :) And everyone knows he didn't do it!!

@littleguinea I think he did kill his former wife so he could be with Anna. I remember watching a Joel Osteen sermon and saying that 91% of the relationships on TV that are glamorized is the affair, which Mr. Bates had with Anna. So, Mr. Bates, in my opinion, did indeed kill the former Mrs. Bates, and should've been hanged right there right then, no ifs ands or buts about it

MR BATE's is such a gentleman @_@ I love how they abided by laws that you cant be with another woman if you're already married, that they only make out after marriage etc....I love how they respect traditions. Gosh I love the past

Thanks a lot for uploading this!!! I am glad they got married and I hope they can be together. I was expecting a more romantic scene for their first night together... when they kissed for the first time, in the night, outside, I think it was more romatic than this... I think it could have been a better scene, turn the lights down a little bit, they a little bit more close, I am kind of disappointing... the last part, when he was taking away, it was overwhelming... thanks a lot for this vid!!

Seeing how fast time passes hopefully Bates will get off in the Christmas special if he does not it will not start my new year well. We must also remember they hung innocent people in those days.
