Thank you for posting this. I had cecal volvulus present in 2010 at the age of 31. I had a great surgeon, but never quite entirely understood what happened. This really helped - thanks.
My 12 year old had this surgery. She was born 2 months premature and had to have surgery the day after she was born because of the gerth of her abdomin. She was in the hospital for 3 1/2 months, came home in lipids and TPN IV and a GTUBE. It was really hard but we just kept working with her and today, she is totally healthy, a cheerleader and an honor student. She eats EVERYTHING without problem except some oils do make her a little sick from time to time. WOuld love to hear more from anyone.

i had this surgery when i was 17 about a year ago ive been fine ever since, but before the surgery i would get nauseated all the time
